This thing does a better job of spitting belts out than holding them…. it’s more like a belt dispenser. I think the smooth finish is more of a problem than a feature.

This belt holder looks very nice, and a bit “posh”.The wood is highly polished. Each slot has a bit of “shelf” to it, in order to catch against the belt buckle, for hanging.I ordered mine to hang on my closet rod. I was afraid that in screwing in the hanger head, it would go on crooked. However, I just placed it and started screwing it on slowly…and it thread the screw perfectly vertical.I placed all my belts in place, only to find that my leather belts had to be placed to the middle, as otherwise, the heavier weight causes the hanger to tilt. When the hanger tilted on my first attempt, my comedy of errors began, as, one after the other, belts started sliding off the hanger.Once I placed all the leather belts in the center, I was able to hang the other belts in a more stable position.Pros:-Looks very nice-Organizes your belts-Can be hung, or mounted on a wallCons:-If hanging on a closet rod, weight distribution is important-If hanging on a closet rod, belts can slide off if hanger moves too muchThis is a great solution to belt storage, and practical too, as it holds so many belts. I am still undecided if it’s worth hanging on a rod, as the belts can slide off if the hanger gets moved too much.I would recommend hanging it on a wall (hardware is included), if you have room, so that it stays stable and your belts don’t move. For that purpose, I’d give this 5 stars. Otherwise, they lose 1 star for lacking stability on a closet rod.

Easy to put up, you can choose from several different ways of hanging it. It can be hung in the closet or on the wall, weather it is hung vertical or horizontal. The best part is it is great for any type of buckle! The standard buckle can hang on a nail however when you have stylish buckles, they don't always fit on standard belt racks. This allows you yo hang the belts with the buckle up, and holds a lot. Definitely worth the price and now I can see my collection rather than trying to dig for the right belt!

Both ends of the hanger keep arriving broken. It was the replacement for the first one(it also arrived broken) and it happened again. I think I'm going to use the defective one cuz I'm tired of waiting for the replacement :(

This is perfect for getting all your belts hung up neatly and organized. This will definitely increase the longevity of my belts. It's sturdy and holds a lot. Very convenient that all my belts are now in one place and I can access them easily.

So I got this recently to hold my large assortment of belts and there's a sufficient number of slots for my current collection plus more for future growth. As far as the setup options, you can either put the hanger-style attachment and hang from he closet bar, or you can install it directly to a wall. Initially I did set it up to the hanger-bar although this did not work well for me. I found that any uneven distribution of weight caused the whole thing to topple over and drop all the belts on the ground, which was disappointing because I don't see how that option could ever be of use. So then I affixed it to a wall in my closet so that there's no movement. This option seems to work much better and is sufficient. The only gripe I have with it is that even though it doesn't move when affixed to the wall, some of the belts slide out of their slot and still fall. Not sure if this can be corrected or if it's a problem that will continue. But other than that, I'm really liking it and it's been a welcome organizational tool to hold my belts!
