We have been using Zeagle BCD’s since 1986 and this one tops them all. The high quality of the material and large number of D-Rings and pockets make this an indispensable BCD. My first Zeagle lasted almost forty years and ended its life because the purge value part was no longer manufactured. This BCD is more heavy duty than my first, so another forty years?

I like all the hooks and straps...and that it's also possible to do dual tank. It's pretty adaptable to all kinds of diving. The nylon material it is made of is the thickest I've ever seen...and since 2008 mine has never come unstitched, pulled apart, or frayed. The rip-cord weight release system is cool too, but I have never used it except in practice. I've had it for about 15 years, and am really pleased with it's durability, quality, and reliability. And yes it has the "RANGER" Tab on it, but as one reviewer pointed out they are made in China so cannot be used by the US Military. Pity. They are sure rugged enough to be in my opinion.

Made in China. Not Berry Amendment Compliant, otherwise a good overbuilt BCD. Look elsewhere for equal quality at a much better price.

Both my wife and I have been diving with Zeagle BCD’s for years. Can’t recommend Zeagle highly enough, quality, versatility, durability, etc etc. Had to respond to a “Top Critical Review.” Diver said his dive computer failed at 60’ and he “quickly decided to release my weight system!” ——?????—-. If that was his only “problem” and he decided to rocket to the surface ……..? Did he not have a buddy, did he have a clue on his dive profile….? I can see why he almost “died.” My god, how did we ever dive before dive computers? Perfect example of putting “product reviews” in context. Again, can not rate Zeagle BCD,s high enough.

I was a videographer for a dive center in the Dominican. I was doing about 11 dives a week for 3 years and racked up over 1000 dives in this BCD and I love it. Well built with strong material I never had any problems on my dives. As other people mentioned if you do use the ripcord weight dump system it’s a huge pain in the rear to re-thread. Also which could be the biggest problem of all, the threads are spaced out and you could loose weights out of the bottom of the pockets when you don’t want to. Back when I was at the dive center I bought some larger bag style weights to prevent that. Now I just purchased the zeagle weight pouches off amazon to go with it. These should solve the problem but I can’t believe the BCD didnt come with those or even has that problem. All and all if you’re smart and learn and maintain your equipment well this BCD will last you many dives over many years. Mines going on it’s 6th year now. P.S. Mr. Worldwide Diver who wrote a review...I don’t even know what to say, just because your dive computer dies doesn’t mean you should panic and dump your weight. Also you should be able to ascend just fine with the weight and not almost drown...Don’t listen to this guys review, straight foolish!!!

Be very careful when using this bcd, I was down about 60' when my dive computer shut-off I quickly decided to release the weight system and it failed, Almost drowned and died, I do not recommend.
