i use these to power my GTX 1660 SUPER in my optiplex 7020. (290watt) works good. i hear these can be sketchy though, had mine for months and hasnt exploded yet

Was looking for SATA power for a new SSD and some light strips, and this looked like the nicest option since I have next to no cable management space. For it to work, you will have to clip off the grip clip thing, since the power supply centers the grip hole over all eight pins instead of the main six of the cable. Fits snug enough where it won’t be a problem!

These things work like a beast. They allow you to run higher end graphics cards from power supplies without enough GPU connectors. Some say these are a bad idea, but I'm running a 5700xt on a 600 watt PSU that had only 1 GPU connector. No issues at all.
