We bought for a spare set to carry in our travels. Our F350 7.3L diesel only runs well with Motocraft brand. Good price, good quality, fast shipping.

When replacing glow plugs OEM is the way to go and these are what you want! I’ve used Autolite and others and 2 maybe 3 winters is it. I then need to repeat the process again. My last set of Motorcraft plugs lasted 6 years. These are made in Ireland by Ford, not in China like the cheap knock offs. When factoring in labor and gaskets you’re better off using OEM. Simply put: you get what you pay for and there is a reason Chinese parts are cheap. You can save on parts and spend on labor or use quality parts and save on additional labor costs in the future, your choice...

These were indeed the genuine OEM parts in Motorcraft packaging for a reasonable price. I paid someone $300 to install them in my 1997 International 7.3L turbo diesel and it fired right up on the very first try in chilly weather. I used to have to use the block heater for an hour IN AUGUST at 80 degrees!!!! It's so convenient to be able to start your vehicle whenever you want! If they don't last I can see revising this down, or if they last longer than expected I might revise it up. For now I am happy.

Dont buy anything less than FORD oem for your diesel. The cheap ones will jam inside the holes and are a PITA, maybe you will be lucky enough that one wont break and fall in the cylinder.

Do not buy any other type of glow plug, this is the one you want for your 7.3 power stroke, I was told but had to learn the hard way, I Installed a set of auto light glow plugs from auto zone in September and when the temperature dropped to -5 they burned out and failed, it left my truck frozen for two weeks until the temperature came up and I could get it started to move it in the shop and installed these. It has never been better at starting in extremely cold weather. We have had a very cold winter here in Colorado. Travis
