My wife and I had assembled a nice apocalyptic survival kit (e.g., solar power, radios, solar stills, etc.) distributed over three Zarges cases. We returned to our home after Hurricanes Helene and Milton to find everything inside the cases completely trashed and covered in a fungus-bacterial slime. The flooding our home experienced was just 2.5 feet inside the house and only lasted for less than a day. Stacking the cases had not helped since the bottom case floated just enough to topple the others. While Zarges does not claim waterproofness, they do claim proof against water vapor, so we were expecting better performance from these premium cases than what we saw.

Nice, flimsy, very expensive WILL NOT do what I bought it to do, but I'll keep if for something lesser to do. I will continue to look for something stronger and more durable. But, it is pretty.

Verwende Zarges für wirklich stabilen Schutz bei Transporten für Fotoausrüstung - hier für Lampenstative. Ausgezeichnete Stapelbarkeit und sogar für erhöhtem Stand beim Fotografieren oder für das Model nutzbar. Die höhere Ausgabe habe ich nicht bereut.

This case has everything you would expect from a Zarges, sturdy, well finished and reliable. In addition it is pretty light which is nice for traveling.Over the years I have bought 7 Zarges boxes of different sizes and all of them are still going strong. One of them is regularly used for international travel and it shows the (ab-)use it has taken. Scratches and dings on the outside but never anything broken or damaged on the inside.Whenever you have expensive equipment to transport, take one of these and you got peace of mind.

Although I only "needed" the size smaller than this, this case is typical Zarges; well-built, well-designed and tough as hell. I travel with sensitive/expensive equipment, and throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa, thus far the case has taken its airline beatings well. The ability to zip tie or lock both sides is great. Keep in mind that it's easy to overfill, and make this size heavier than you'd expect. But it holds everything for a week of bush work or a weekend at the lake. I'd buy another if it was needed, without hesitation.
