I needed an easy to maneuver 12-15' ladder for a few projects around the house.. didn't want to spend a fortune, because I already have 5 other ladders.. for the price I figured I'd try it..Overall, a good deal for the money.. for reference I'm around 250lbs, and used this ladder extended to about 11', then all the way.. it's a difficult ladder to get used to because it has a decent amount of flex to it.. it feels kinda sketchy at first, but it's stable..Personally, my comfortable limit for this ladder is around 12-13' mark.. its just too much flex for me... But that said, I'm probably going to use this more than I thought I would for things that are 10' or under.. it's lighter and easier to maneuver than my little giant..The only thing I did was I taped a bath towel around the top rung because it was quickly marring the wall it was against because of the flex.If you're looking for a cheap collapsible ladder this is a pretty good buy for the price..

I purchased this for my Camper so I can get on the roof while camping. Fits in the back of my RAM easily as it is very small compared to other ladders. I didn't even have to extend it all the way to get on the top of my Camper. I have used it at home as well. Took it with me to clean out my wood duck houses. Fit in my wheel barrow while walking around my property. And, the BEST part, when you are done using it you hold on to the bottom of the ladder, push in the 2 buttons and the ladder comes down at a decent speed until it is completely closed. It closes very smoothly. No banging and at a good speed. You can extend it to any length you need up to 12.5 feet. I Highly Recommend this ladder.

I loved this so much that I bought 2 and gave 1 to my mother in law who likes things to be small, compact, and tidy. In all fairness it was a little heavy for the old lady, but she always has help and she is very glad to have this and so am I. It stands stable, but i would recommend to have someone with you as ome would do with every other ladder, very functional, design is pretty chic.

I got this to do one thing: change the smoke detector battery on a 13' ceiling. I have one of those steel collapsible step ladders, but it's so heavy and my hands and wrists have gotten so weak and painful that carrying it is difficult. I've avoided changing that battery for a year and a half because I didn't want to drag the heavy thing upstairs, plus I have to move furniture to make room for it. Then I saw a link for this telescoping ladder. Extending it was easy, and it collapses exactly as they showed in the promotional video. It's light enough to be easy to carry around collapsed and easy to maneuver when extended. I gave it only 4 stars for sturdiness because it does flex a little, as extendable ladders usually do, and I have almost no sense of balance so I prefer a very rigid ladder. I had to go up and down very slowly. But for a steadier person it's probably fine. Bottom line: I got my battery replaced and I'm happy. If I only every use it for that one thing, it's worth it.

This is very convenient for putting in my suv for jobs. It is not meant for outside winter weather (snow spots) and not sure I would want to climb up more than 5 or 6 platforms without someone holding it safely at the bottom.works for what I need it for.

UPDATE: After relating the problems below to the seller, quick action was taken and a replacement ladder was sent. Yvan's communication and customer service were "above and beyond". My impression is that the original ladder I received just happened to be one with a "glitch resulting in the problems described below. Hopeful for good performance with my new ladder and confident that if there is a problem this excellent seller will address it. Thank you, Yvan!I wanted to wait to write a review until I had a chance to use the ladder. My return widow has expired an I have yet to find an address where I can contact the seller.I used the ladder maybe 5 times before today. Today, I to get on the roof. In a nutshell, no matter what I tried when extending the ladder from the top rung, it would not lock. Tried everything I could think of with no luck. The only way I was able to use it was if I extended it from the bottom up, ALL THE WAY, which is not how it is supposed to work. Further, that meant I had to extend it completely which will be a problem if I ever have to use it indoors.If you buy this, I would strongly suggest you use it several times before your return policy expires. It was ""dormant" in my garage for probably 3 months and the result was as noted above.If I have any further information, I will update this review.

Received the ladder. Very happy with the versatility of it. However when we opened the package there was a large dent on the top rung of the ladder. The original packaging was not damaged in any way and the outer packaging from Amazon was not damaged in any way. Considering the amount of money the ladder cost was disappointed to see damage from the original manufacturer.
