Overall the product is delivered in a very solid casing, with all the tools you would need for the specialized screws that must be removed to do the screen replacement, including a sheet for organizing the screws was a nice touch. The effort to include instructions was appreciated but the instructions were a bit scrambled: I was told to remove hinge screens in step 13, and then again in step 16. Steps 17 & 18 try to cover screen detachment and replacement all in one swoop, leaving out important steps. I had to unscrew the hinges twice on new screen I inserted to get things situated correctly. "Follow steps in reverse order to reassemble" is lame and comes straight off of a popular DIY website. Very true notebook does not turn on until it is at least momentarily plugged back into a charger. Overall, quite good product; I think it would have been best for marketing to omit the instruction manual rather than include a poorly written one.

This kit has to be the best one I have ever seen. Packaged in a double padded set of bubble envelopes and then in a box that opens like a book which is foam padded on the inside. Instructions provided are very high end, the tools are beyond adequate for the job. It even comes with a printout for the steps where you put the screws so you don’t mix things up. I will only buy this replacement if I need to do another screen repair.

Installation was easy and if you follow the steps everything works perfectly. It worked for about one month and then went black , now it's dead .no way to contact the seller

Apple quoted me $650 to replace a screen that had gone black. Since this was a fraction of the cost I didn’t have much hope but I took a chance. The screen comes with all of the tools needed to do the job and a very helpful instruction booklet. I have never done anything like this before and it only took me 20 minutes. Quality is great, all logos are as they should be. Would recommend to anyone looking to keep money out of the pockets of Apple.

I'm not a computer technician. I had the eagerness to try and complete the task of replacing my iPad screen. The tools and inclusive instructions enabled me to perform the "miracle", and to my surprise, by following the instructions and the tools included help me to do an "expert" job. Awesome.

The original MacBook Air screen failed after 3 years (displaying vertical bands instead of the actual image). Apple wanted about $700 (including tax) to replace the screen. I ordered this screen and it arrived in less than a week - amazing, considering that it was during Christmas time. The screen was packed in a hard box, which was packed in a bubble wrap envelope which, in turn was packed in a bigger bubble wrap envelope. Excellent protection! The package also contained all the tools required for the installation as well as detailed printed instructions. Removing the old screen and installing the new one took about an hour. Now the MacBook Air looks like new again. Hopefully it will last longer than the original screen.Highly recommended!

The color, Rose Gold, matched up perfectly with the laptop. Instruction video was awesome and took moments to change out with the provided tools. Now it's like a brand new laptop. Just have to start my sticker collection again....who am I kidding it's too pretty to put anything on it now. For the price this is the best deal and quality to replace your screen.

My screen broke out of nowhere and I didn't know what to do since at apple the service costs much more than just this screen. So I thought I'd give it a try. The tools included are pretty good so I am going to keep them for any future need. When I changed it tho, my own computer had one of the tiny screws that would not turn cause it was not handled with care when it got put together. That was a learning curve for sure since I had to take off some more elements and go around it, but a friend that used to do this for work helped me out. I don't think I would have been able to complete this otherwise, but if everything goes good, there are videos online on how to. The screen is working great so far. The only thing that isn't perfect (and why I gave 4/5 stars) is that the rubber gasket around the screen is kind of warn on a small portion. It's barely noticeable tho. Unless I am watching something in the dark and I can see the screen light going through the small space where it isn't properly glued, I guess. I know this is going to be the first part that will worn out but it's ok considering how much I saved. When I first opened it the apple logo was covered for protection so I was worried for a second that it wouldn't be the usual apple, but in the end it was ahahah so it's there, just fyi.
