This tree is cute, a quick build (my husband and son had fun putting it together), and the cat loves it! If you have a very fat and large cat though, this might not be the tree for you. My cat is large and slightly fat and he fits very snugly in all the napping spots. If he was much bigger he may not fit. It’s pretty tall as well. I love how soft the snuggle spots are and my cat loves scratching the tree!

This product packed down amazingly small. When I received it I was wondering how it would assemble but it was quite easy to build! They don’t really like the lower hammock at all and never sit in it, and they don’t seem to like the top shelf because it is unstable but they love the “cat condo” and the upper sack so much. They play in it lots and to them it’s 5/5 ! I think 4/5 stars because the lower hammock is tough for them to get in and they are quite small, the upper level is rickety for the size of the base, but It is a great value for the money and time it takes to assemble. So based of how much they like it and how well it is built for the price. I could make something much “nicer” quality but it would cost so much more and take so much time so for $40 after the discount it is solid. My kittens kept trying to scale things in my home and they somewhat have stopped that which is good ! They like to scratch the rough posts as well.

The cat likes it, what I don't like is it's pretty wobbly, even though it's as tight as it can be.

My cat enjoys it very much, he is not afraid to turn his nose up at something he does not like. He is about 11 lbs and just fits in the top hammock area, he also fits in the little house area, he hasn’t tried the lower hammock yet. Cat tree is a little wobbly when he is getting onto the top part, but overall, pretty sturdy. For the amount I paid (on sale), totally worth the money. Pretty simple for installation, took maybe 10 minutes at the most.

I’m fairly handy, but this was more of a challenge to assemble than I expected..My first issue was with 2 bolts absolutely not fitting into the metal threads where they were supposed to screw into. That was unfortunately for the little bridge between the vertical pole on the left and the structure on the right of the second level. That meant the whole second level had no support or mechanical connection between the left and right sections. Two bolts and a metal strap were supposed to connect those sections underneath. I think the machining of the threaded metal you screw the bolts into must have been mangled or possibly the wrong size for the bolts provided. To continue constructing the tower, I had to improvise by screwing a section of 1x6” wood under the middle of that level to connect the two sections.The other issue was connecting the top sleeping hammock to the top platform. The connector that was already inserted into the support that held up the right corner of the hammock was too short to screw in the support above it and the hammock. So, I had to rearrange what bolts were used where for the top two levels to include all the features. Somehow, I managed to get it all together.It does look nice and seems pretty tight with my adjustments. I do think this has potential to fall over easily, especially if your cat is chonky like mine! I recommend putting it against a wall, weighting the lower level or anchoring it to a wall for the most stability.My cat hasn’t seen it yet, so I can’t attest to that yet. One last comment on the size of the lower hammock. I don’t see anything bigger that a kitten or a ferret fitting in there. I can’t imagine my 10 lb cat being able to fit in there.

This was fairly easy to assemble, although getting the bolts to match up with the threads was challenging on a few pieces. Biggest disappointment is that the very top piece won’t screw all the way down into the connecting piece making it too unstable for my boys, especially when the kitten tries to share with his brother. I removed it in hopes that I could connect it with the extra bolt they send you, but now the two pieces can’t be separated—the top just spins and spins. I will have to leave it off so no one gets hurt. The rest is very sturdy, if a bit small. My 6 month old kitten fits perfectly, but my half-Maine coon chonk is a tight squeeze.
