It apparently supports a wide range of optics for the uplink. I say that because I've tried three different brands of 10Gb SFP's (Dell, 10Gtek, and QSFPTEK) and they've all worked. As far as port-to-port bandwidth goes, TCP throughput runs at 2.35Gbits/sec pretty consistently between my connected devices. Not sure about UDP because I don't normally use that protocol. Also, I don't have the switch fully populated so it might not be as good if it's getting a workout.

Says it supports 1x 10G SFP ports (support 1G/2.5G Module).IT SHOULD BE CLEARLY NOTED THAT THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY 10G SPEEDS

Sono rimasto positivamente impressionato da questo switch non gestito.Tutti i cavi in mio possesso (Cat5e e Cat6) hanno funzionato senza problemi. Anche vecchi cavi Cat5, di lunghezza contenuta (inferiore ai 6 mt), stanno lavorando a 2.5Gbit senza problemi (non ho potuto provare lunghezze superiori).

up graded my network to 2.5 and they seem to work well i gained about 150 meg of download speed

Need to get internet to the garage through a conduit with electrical cables. Used a premade armored fiber through the conduit since the electrical wires won't interfere with that and one of these on the end. It also does PoE so my garage access point is powered too.I have almost no cell service in the garage so now I can stream music while working or if someone calls I can answer.

The switch is small and clean design for small projects where you have limited space. I tested the gigabit performance and it passed. It’s fanless but not hot. I wish it came with better wall mounting fixture, I have to use two sided 3m tape to stick it to the small cabinet. Overall 5 star for my project.

I was looking to upgrade my current TP-LINK 8-PORT switch and saw this one on Amazon. Hooking it up took 10 minutes and it works flawlessly. It comes with a manual, metal case, and AC power adapter. Why pay more money with the major brands, when this one works great. This is a very high quality unit at a bargain price. Very happy with my purchase. Amazon delivered it in one day. Amazing.
