the axle was a straight forward swap for a 1969 pontiac firebird with bop rear, the bearing pressed on with no problems all machined surfaces were finished well a spacer has to be used but that was no problem. as to which spacer you use is obviously determined by which bearing you use and for what car application, the length was fine, so I would say a good replacement for stock axles

Fits great in 68firebird with stock rear end. You need to take this to a shop that can press on the bearings. Local parts store did this for me for very little $. No issues or mods required.
