This extractor work as designed. Removed the broken differential shaft lock bolt with easy couldn’t ask for an easier fix!!!

This bit broke after about 5 rotations used properly! Afterwards I read reviews and seems to be the problem with this item! Yukon should b ashamed to put a product out like this for $80..was getting ready to buy their ring and pinion but not after this junk

For such a premium price for a special drill bit you could have found a better drill bit in a dollar. Had to use a real metal drill bit to finish drilling the hole for the easy out. After trying to drill a hole for 20min with the bit in kit I switched to a real metal bit and finished it in 20sec. Wish I would of made a video of how horrible the bit is in this kit. Two stars as the rest of the kit worked as described.

Drill bit broke on first use was not hard enough to drill into pin . Would not recommend this product especially being over 120$ you would think it would be better quality, cannot return as written on packaging when arriving .Only reason it got two stars is the guide bolts that come with, but with that said you could probably just drill a hole in the broken original bolt for the same result.So basically just got shafted for over 120$ for two bolts two extraction bolts and a toy drill bit

The drill bit in this kit is absolute garbage. Over an hour and 2 20 volt Dewalt batteries and all I did was dimpled the bolt. I called Yukon and was able to speak to the Village Idiot in Tech support, Gus. His first question was what direction was I drilling? Forward. His next was that if it is a "Left hand Drill Bit" then going forward will dull it out quickly. I re-checked my drill bit just in case, it matched every other drill bit I have. I tried again and the first one inch of the bit broke off in the bolt. Once removed I grabbed a 1/8 drill bit for my impact and an extension. 10 seconds later I had a hole deep enough for the extractor. Gus did say that they are using multiple vendors for the drill bits as they can not keep them in stock. Very irritated with Yukon Customer Support!

Snapped the bolt inside the carrier that holds the pin in a Ford 8.8” rear end. Nothing I had would work, ordered this kit, arrived in less than 24 hours and worked perfectly. If you ever have to take the pin out of a Ford rear end this tool is a must have!

This is exactly what you need to remove a broken cross pin bolt from a Chrysler 8.25 differential. I only gave it 3 stars because the drill bit that it came with was completely dull. I ended up having to run out to a hardware store to get another bit. Once I had a sharp bit, removing the broken bolt was easy.
