Choose this ceiling fan pull chain switch + CBB61 fan capacitor, and replace the old one in following cases:
- If the fan does not start or is difficult to start.
- If the fan speed decreases.
- If the fan speed can not be changed.
- Please record the wire connection before change the capacitor and fan switch in your fan.

I got this to fix my fan barely turning, and it is now running fast again. Turns out I have a different style switch, so I didn't use this one. Still, it's a small price to pay for a good running fan. Neither part looks cheap or flimsy.I like it.

I have two ceiling fans that the light chain broke too short to fix. So I ordered this pull chain switch to fix one of them. I only needed to use two of the wires. However the colors of the wires didn't match. The light now works great. This was an inexpensive fix. The quality is excellent and price is inexpensive.

After some experimenting (turning off the breaker each time) I was able to match the differently colored wires in my ceiling fan to this piece and sort out the correct combinations. Once that was matched correctly, this worked fine. It was slightly larger than my original (broken) piece, but did fit with some maneuvering of wires.This was definitely a two person job, both to flip breakers on the other end of the house (while using phones on speaker) and to help support the weight of the fan as I resecuree it to the ceiling.

This worked great! I was able to revive one of my ceiling fans that had stopped working properly which turned out to be the pull switch. Glad I found this.

This is a genuine Zing Ear switch for three speed operation, and it comes with a solid state resistor if your fan needs it. Very easy to install. Pay attention to how you remove your old switch and just repeat it. This is a very good value!

I ordered this 3-speed ceiling fan pull chain switch to replace a broken switch, as the chain had completely pulled out.Several features attracted me to this product:First, the nickel finish matched the finish of my fan perfectly.Second, the switch's specifications aligned exactly with those of my fan.Third, the physical characteristics of the switch were identical to the original, except for the wire colors.Installation was straightforward. I used the markings on the switch to identify the power (hot) wire and the speed settings (1, 2, and 3), which helped me manage the difference in wire colors. Fortunately, the capacitor was still working, so I saved the new capacitor for a future project.My only minor complaint is that it would have been nice if the manufacturer had included some small wire nuts.Overall, my experience with this ceiling fan pull chain switch has been excellent. My bedroom ceiling fan is now working perfectly. I recommend this product without any reservations.
