I have officially completed two latch, hook projects from this company, and they never cease to amaze me. I love the storage kit and storage folder you get from YP crafting kits. It allows you to keep all the pieces and yarn together for the duration of your project. The temples are very easy to read and they provide you with an extra HD colored photo map to use too! There is a reason I keep coming back to this brand to use their latch hook kits; they’re worth every penny!

This is such a great latch hook kit for beginners. It was easy to learn and beginner friendly. The design is beautiful and the size is perfect. Highly recommend for anyone looking to start making latch hook rugs who hasn't made them before. So much fun and well worth the cost. Enjoyed doing this alongside my 9 year old daughter. Highly recommend.

I have done latch hooking for a long time and I enjoy the craft a lot. When I saw this kit, I knew it was a good time to enjoy the hobby again! It comes with everything you need to get started - a latch hook, a printed canvas already sewn around the edges to stop fraying, strips of yarn pre-cut and organized by color roll, a chart/pattern (though it says to use whatever is printed on the canvas instead of just going by the paper pattern), and a pleasant box to hold the project.Some things that aren't perfect about this kit is that I couldn't tell there was a median red color - I thought there was just the dark red and the brighter red. I'm not colorblind or anything like that, I had no idea there were 3 different colors not the 2. That's why mine looks like a big chunk in the middle. There's a lot of extra and I'm not sure why. The last picture I posted is all the stuff leftover after finishing and that's a lot of white yarn! So, don't worry about needing to use many strands again if you accidentally split them or tangle them - lots left to work with! I personally don't like the hook that came with the kit. It will definitely work, but it's small and cheap. I went to a local craft store and got a better one that I like for $2 or less - and used that instead. The hook they provide will definitely do the job but not as comfortably and well as a slightly bigger and better-made hook will.An excellent kit to try out the hobby and for kids age 10 or older. Lots of fun!

I really enjoyed doing latch hook rugs as a kid, so when I saw this strawberry 12” x 12” tapestry, I wanted to see if I still liked latch hook. This is so much fun, and now that I am an adult, I can latch hook with my nephews, they are 6 and 7, so they do a good job, but they get bored quickly. Still we had a good time. The rug is preprinted with the strawberry design, and there is also an additional pattern included. This great quality kit has all the items that you need to complete this latch hook kit, yarn, latch hook tool and more.

Latch hooking was quite popular when I was a kid, about 30 years ago, and it’s just as fun and simple now. The technique is so easy to pick up—I remembered it right away just by looking at six tutorial images. It’s essentially "hook and repeat," making it very straightforward.This particular set is similar to paint-by-numbers but with yarn. There are only six letters corresponding to six different colors, and all you have to do is create a hook for each color following the printed design. That’s it! Simple, nostalgic, and enjoyable.
