About this item

  • Floating Deep Diver
  • Crystal Minnow Premium Classic Prism Finish gives this series it's realistic stunning flash
  • Stainless Steel Split Rings, Round Bend Super Tin Treble Hooks, and realistic oversized holographic 3D eyes
  • Diver depth: 13 feet
  • Weight: 7/8oz

The Crystal Minnow Deep Diver series will reach depths of up to 20 feet, depending on the trolling speed. It has a tight wiggling action that perfectly mimics the motion of a swimming forage fish. The brilliant holographic finish gathers and reflects any and all subsurface light for the utmost visibility, even at maximum depths and in turbid or stained waters. A pair of highly animated 3D eyes adds to the realistic appearance and gives hungry fresh and saltwater game fish a target to zero in on. The Crystal Minnow Deep Diver can also be cast and brought in with a slow, steady retrieve or with a stop-go action.

I used this deep diver Yo-Zuri lure for the 1st time two days ago. 2nd cast out I hit a good size Horse Eye Jack...then caught 4 more within an hour all using this lure...Woo-hoo! Highly recommend this Yo-zuri lure!

I tried it twice and didn't catch anything, mainly because surface weeds would go down my line and ruin the action, but this thing is impressive. Whether you cast it or troll, it will immediately dive deep (in the 15-20 feet range I think when trolling). Of course just be careful not to use it in shallow waters because you might loose it at the bottom.

This January, the water temps dropped pretty dramatically off the coast of Sonora, Mexico. This slowed down the fishing considerably down here. So, I ordered up a handful of Yo-zuri lures to see if a change in crank baits would make a difference. The fish finder was pinging fish down at about 10-20 feet, so I tied on this deep-diving crystal minnow and trolled it behind my paddleboard. As soon as I left the bay and hit the open water, bam! I hooked onto a good-sized bonito.Typically, I swap all of my trebles for single, inline hooks. When catching and releasing, it does a lot less damage to the animal overall and doesn’t seem to ruin the action of the lures. However, I didn’t have time this around, but no worries since he was a keeper!Overall, great lure - I would highly recommend. Minus 1 star because the resin coating scratched so easily upon the first catch.

My favorite lure for slow trolling from my kayak for kings

These lures are deadly on kings and spanish Mack's, bonito, and, albies. I have bought multiple styles but I have 2 of the 4 1/8" that actually troll at 9mph(GPS speed). Those work great but the last 2 blow out before that. The 5" ones will go faster but get less bites.

The Yozuri lure is in my Opinion one of the finest lures made for fishermen . The attention to quality is unsurpassed. The deep runner and the shallow runner are great producers. Well this is my own opinion but I work in a tackle shop and can attest to hundreds and hundreds of purchases by avid fisherman .

Used it for the first time in San Diego bay today. Instant success! Two small halibut, one barracuda and 6 spotted bay bass. Got hit in less than one minute. This lure is my new go to lure!
