  • Made from solid wood, this bow and arrow set is a great introductory set to a youth wanting to learn archery.
  • Bow and arrow set comes complete with quiver and 3 arrows with rubber tips.
  • The bow itself measures 40 inches long, and the wood arrows measure about 21 inches long.
  • Please note that this is a toy and is not meant for adults or serious archers. It does not function as a real recurve bow.
  • The bow shoots an arrow with decent accuracy up to 25 feet.

What a great way to introduce a youth to the sport of archery with this wooden toy bow and arrow with quiver and pack of 3 arrows. This youth set is made from wood with the same principals of a hunting bow and arrow. It has a fully functional bow, and has been tested to shoot an arrow up to 25 feet with decent accuracy. The bow itself measures 40 inches long, and the arrows measures about 21 inches long. Adult supervision should still be in place when a youth is intending to use the bow and arrow.

This was perfect with my Robin Hood Halloween costume. It looks authentic enough for costume use without being a dangerous item in any way.

Was an Archer Elf dor halloween and this was great for that. Wish there was a better way to secure the quiver but other than that great product. Did not expect it to shoot as well as it does either.

My daughter wants to be an archer for Halloween. We got this yesterday and it works very well. It is good for an athletic girl who knows how to be gentle, but someone could break it, if they are too rough. She can shoot it very well now and enjoys it. Great accuracy! She love it! Thank you so much!

I got this because I needed a rustic-looking bow for a costume, and I figured since I'm pretty small for an adult, the size might be okay. It's definitely too small to look good when drawn with adult arms, but as a prop it's fine — bigger than the vast majority of "child sized" bows. The "quiver" is just a wooden box. Very weird, and since it has no strap, basically useless. The "feathers" on the arrows were completely destroyed and looked ridiculous. I ended up taking off the rubber tip, spray painting it silver, and just gluing it onto my own dowel and adding my own feathers from the craft store.Hard to rate it too low, though, since this is insanely cheap. The bow itself is pretty sturdy and looks nice.

My daughter was Katniss for Halloween this year, and since she couldn't do regular trick-or-treating, we wanted her to at least have the pleasure of a working bow. This fit the bill, and she really enjoyed shooting the three arrows that come with this set. I imagine she'll play with this for awhile. The bow is a nice size (not too small to feel like it's for a little kid) and seems fairly sturdy. The wood makes it feel special. The arrows were already losing their feathers when we opened the package, but for play, this doesn't seem to affect the shooting of the arrows too much. One or two of the rubber tips keep falling off the arrows, but so far we've been able to stick them right back on, and it's great how soft the rubber tips are. She isn't aiming them at anyone, but I don't think they would hurt someone very much if she did.Her main complaint is the quiver, which is a small wooden tube with no shoulder strap, so we made one and attached it. There is no practical way to carry it otherwise, since you need both hands to aim and shoot the bow. This toy met its purpose at our house and we are happy with the purchase. I wish parts weren't already falling off, but since so far it's still working, we're okay with that. :)

We liked the real looking rubber tips. We liked that you set the arrow against it to shoot like an adult bow. (Unlike another product that had a hole you slip arrow into then release. She liked the real wood and tips. The feathers are crappy and they probably shouldn't have cut into the arrow shaft to attach them, but it's ok.We didn't buy for accuracy, but they do fly far enough to surprise her. She enjoys it. Suction cups would look babyish. Not old enough for strength of real bow. Perfect middle ground choice! She is 9.

I had to stand the handle down a little to smooth the edges and rubbed wood glue into the jute wrapped either side of the handle to add a little strength and give it a slight more finished look. The string appears to made of sinew giving it a more rustic look. The arrows were not very straight. The fletching is feather but not of good quality. It won't work well at all for target practice or anything as it isn't designed for that. All the negatives aside, I bought this as a prop for a medieval fest. I didn't want anything made from fiberglass or plastic and this was perfect for what I bought it for. As a toy for the youngins I imagine it would work well. Better so if you buy or make your own arrows as the three that came with mine dont fly straight for longer than ten feet.

I never write reviews but I HAVE to give a huge shout out for this product....amazing price for what looks like hand carved bow...and yes - it shoots! And by shootinng, I mean just the perfect amount of shooting...e.g. my 7 year old LOVES it but it's not going to puncture anything. HIGHLY recommend it and thank you to the woman who created it (her name was on the reciept but not sure she wants me to go publicizing it but she's based in Brooklyn, capital of cool!)...Was really surprised at the high quality for the inexpensive price...so refreshing. Thank you!
