I thought these would be a little more substantial. They're a little thin, but he has shorts to wear underneath. My son is in a 14 and growing like a weed, so I got an XL. It's a little loose and a touch long, but not by much. We may want to add a belt to the gear, but he says they're comfortable, so... these are fine.

These are huge! I ordered a youth size small for my 7 year old grandson who is pretty big for his age, 80% on both the weight and height charts. With no size chart offered, I ordered his normal go-to size. What 1st grader has a 29" waist and 27" inseam? From waistband to hem, these pants are 36" long! I was curious what size they compared to so I checked a random men's size chart and the first one that came up for pants said a men's size small waist is 27-29" and the inseam is 30". The tag in the waistband says youth small, but these pants can't be sized right!The pants themselves are fine, they look well made and sturdy. They are a waste for me though because my grandson won't be wearing these for many years.

Runs a little snug, seems to be well made with good stitching. A little too thick for the hot summer months, but overall I would purchase again.

These were great!! The material is high end, they have a non slip waist, and the open bottom is a game changer for my daughter. She doesn't like when pants scrunch at the bottom so these are a great alternative. The length was perfect and sit right at the ankle so they don't drag or interfere with playing the game at all.

Got these pants for my grandson and he likes the way they fit and how comfortable they are compared to other baseball pants he has. The size runs true and the pants hold up well in the washer and dryer. Price is comparable to other brands.

I ordered a size XS for my 5 year old. The length is a little long and the waist is a little big, but we can definitely make these work with a belt and he will have plenty of room to grow! The pants are a little stretchy and comfortable. I gave these to my boy tonight as part of a valentine's day gift and he wants to wear them to bed!The stitching in the zipper was messed up on arrival - lots of loose threads so I couldn't zip them up or down. After cutting away the extra stitching I've solved the problem and they work great. Very pleased with this purchase!

First, I'll say that if you aren't able to buy a pair of baseball pants at a local retail store, then this pair of "Penveer" brand pants is okay. For the same or better price, you might as well go to your local store so you can confirm sizing, and more than likely the price will be better if you shop for the lower end brands.I gave this generic brand on Amazon a shot. The pants are wearable for my son, but we will be using these for practices and as a backup to his main pants worn for games. There are two main gripes about this:- The material is noticeably thinner than the handful of baseball pants we have purchased over the years from our local sporting good stores. Since my son has only worn these pants a couple of times so far, I can't say for sure whether they will tear sooner than our previous pants. With normal use in little league, I am guessing they should last at least one season.- The sizing seems quite off. Specifically, the listed size is too big (mostly in length; less so in width). My son has worn size Small pants (two different "name brands") the last couple of seasons, so I went ahead and got size Small here. I did check the size chart and noticed the measurements were a bit larger than expected. But I went ahead and ordered the size Small. Thankfully having a belt is good enough in keeping the pants on my son. The length is way too long, so it just looks baggy on him.

I ordered these baseball pants for my daughter, who typically wears a children’s small (6/7) in pants, and the waist fit perfectly. The length was a little long, even for full-length baseball pants, but a quick hem job fixed that issue.The material is thick yet breathable, which is perfect for late winter/early spring games. She stays warm when standing still and cool after running the bases. The fabric also has great stretch and washes clean easily—even after a day of sliding in the dirt.The buttons and zipper are easy enough for my 5-year-old to manage on her own, which is a big plus. The elastic waistband has two rubbery strips that help keep her jersey tucked in—even during intense play. And the belt loops are large enough to fit the thicker Under Armour baseball belts without struggling—major win!Out of all the baseball pants my daughter owns, these are her favorites! She always reaches for them first (even if they’re not clean yet). When I asked if she’d tell other players to get them, she simply said, “Yes!”
