I mainly needed the rubber plug, which was perfect. I was going to keep the glass as a backup but I barely knocked it over on the table and it shattered.

I am so forever grateful I found this replacement globe on Amazon. My curio shelf had fallen shattering my most precious musical snow globe that I received after my momma passed, cardinals were her favorite, my heart was broken. Needless to say, I thought it was a total loss and I would be left with just the base, then by fate, I found this globe. It does seem a little thin but I handled it with kid gloves and didn’t have any issues assembling. For the snow used white glitter, glycerin and a couple drops of alcohol, premixed it prior to pouring in the globe. I found filling the globe to the rim prior to installing the gasket made it easier to install, you just have to work your way around gently, there will be some over flow but don’t worry, the water wipes off and the end results is a perfectly filled globe after gluing to the base, it looks good as new. I’m going to try and share a before/after photo if possible. I love it and couldn’t be happier with the results.

It was perfect in replacing the glass snow globe that I broke. I followed an online video in filling it with distilled water, alcohol, glycerin and the snowflakes. Then used E6000 to seal it. So far it’s working out good, no leaks. Just making sure I ordered the right size seemed to be a big deal. Glass is thin and extra precautions needed in the process of putting it all together. The glass globe, E6000 sealer, music box and snowflakes were all found on Amazon Yay!!!

I was asked to fix a leaky snow globe. After freeing the figurine, I ordered a new globe...this globe...as a replacement. I am very pleased with this heavy glass globe which includes a great silicone seal!

I got this wet specimen at a convention last year. I put it in storage and when I went to check it, I dropped it and it shattered. I was really worried about replacing the globe. Luckily, this seller sells a globe thats the exact same size. I had never replaced the fluid in it before so im not sure exactly how thick the other globe was in comparison. Honestly i think theyre both thin. It seems like if you mishandle it you could break it. Maybe thats just how all globes are though. Its water tight, and Im using my old stopper for it. Theyre exactly the same but my old one is cream colored instead of blue. If this one ends up breaking, Ill probably buy another one anyway. Good replacement

I bought this to replace the glass on an existing snow globe. Despite being very careful, I broke it and thought, okay, my bad, I'll get another and try again. The 2nd time around, I was even MORE careful, if that's possible, and it STILL broke. You don't have the luxury of touching whatever it is you're inserting into the globe because it will simply break through. So if you don't mind throwing away $16 a pop until you get it right, then go ahead. As for me, I've wasted enough money on this item. I wish I'd paid attention to the review that stated this item was thin as a wine glass, because it's true.
