Tips on connecting the projector:
1. iPhone wired connection:
Reply to the YOTON to get the Lightning/Type C to USB cable, then select the [iOS Wired Connection] signal source of the projector.
2. Android phone wired connection:
Reply to the YOTON to get the Type C to HDMI cable, then choose the [HDMI] signal source of the projector.
How to connect my phone?
Multiple connection methods:
- Connecting to iPhone/iPad: Lightning/Type-C to USB cable is required, contact YOTON to get it
- Connecting to Android mobile phone: Type-C to HDMI cable is required, contact YOTON to get it (Samsung A series; Motorola series; Huawei series; Redmi series; OnePlus series are not supported)
- Connecting to all mobile phones: Wireless Dongle is required. Dongle for wireless connection, contact YOTON to get it
- Connection to TV Stick: Use the HDMI port of the projector, and plug the USB end into the projector for power supply
- Connection USB Flash Drive: Only support USB 2.0 interface and USB flash drives with memory less than 64GB
- Computer Connection: Use HDMI cable to connect. MacBook needs to purchase USB C to HDMI adapter
Warm Tips:
Copyright-protected videos such as Netflix, Amazon Prime may not be supported for direct playback through mobile phones, and a black screen may appear. You can play the videos via *HDMI Connection* with a PC, TV Box, Amazon Fire Stick.

Supports connecting multiple devices
This portable mini projector features multiple interfaces, such as HDMI, USB and AUX, making it suitable for use in various scenarios. In addition, you can connect it to your audio system for an immersive home cinema experience.
- Please note that Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and some similar apps do not support screen mirroring due to copyright protection.
- You can connect a streaming device such as Fire TV Stick or Roku Stick to the projector via the HDMI port.
- Another method is to connect your PC/laptop via the HDMI connection to stream to the mini projector.
- Please note that due to the restrictions of the customer agreement framework, Google phones cannot be connected to the mini projector.
Problems you may have:
1. How to play Netflix/Hulu/Prime Video on this mini projector portable?
You can play them via *HDMI Connection* with a PC/TV Box, Amazon Fire Stick, and Chromecast. Please kindly note that the Streaming Platforms do not allow devices to Screen Cast/Mirror their videos due to copyright issues.
2. I have purchased a Lightning to USB adapter for my iPhone, why is it still can't project?
Reply to the YOTON to get the Lightning/Type C to USB cable, then select the [iOS Wired Connection] signal source of the portable projector.
3. I bought an HDMI adapter for my Android phone, why is it still can't project?
Reply to the YOTON to get the Type C to HDMI cable, then choose the [HDMI] signal source of the portable projector.
4. Why can't be recognized after inserting the U disk?
Please refer to the manual to check whether the file format in the U disk can be read. This mini projector portable has a USB2.0 interface, so it only supports U disks(No more than 64GB) with the same USB2.0 interface(the interface color is black). The USB flash drive with a USB3.0 interface is not supported(the interface color is blue).
5. When I connect the Firestick, can the power supply end of the Firestick be plugged into the mini projector portable at the same time?
Yes, a certain distance is specially set between the HDMI interface and the USB interface of the Y3 mini projector portable. This interface layout is to facilitate the connection of TV sticks and other similar devices. In many projectors, the distance between these two interfaces is very close, which makes it impossible to use the TV stick.

Works super well but it would only pair with my Apple iPad, not a Samsung phone. It’s probably just me doing something wrong, but when I used a cord to connect my phone to the projector, my phone would say it’s not able to connect.

It’s small and works very well, I normally pair it with my echo show for better audio quality. It was worth the price, actually i think it’s a very good price, and most important of all it was easy to connectThe image quality is ok and you can adjust the colors and the brightness.

I would recommend this to anyone on a budget! The video can get a bit blurry at moments, you just have to be very careful when adjusting it, otherwise it's awesome. The sound can get very loud, so if you have a bigger group of people anyone could hear. It's easy to assemble and connect. The remote is a nice addition and i love the clicking sounds it makes, makes it feel of good quality. Does not take much space so it's practical in this matter too. If you are wondering if you want to get it, just get it!

This is my second time buying this product. I purchased one originally in 2021, after 3 uses it stopped working, big green spot displayed. My second unit was purchased and at first use stopped working. Intermittent black screen, display stops functioning. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product! I should also add both units overheat, hot to touch when in use. I’d rate this as negative stars if I could.

I’ve used mine for over two years and it still works as great as when I first opened it. Customer service answered kindly within a day when I had a question or two (mostly how to project from my phone, and we figured it out). I’ve used it in my art classroom to help trace out large images for different events to save so much time while also having lots of accuracy, and it was bright enough that I didn’t even have to turn the lights off. I’ve used it to play home videos from my cellphone and it made for fun family memories. Sound quality and image quality are great for our family and we have never regretted this purchase. We love that it is compact and easy to take care of.

Hemos comprado este proyector para la casa ya que queríamos ver películas o jugar videojuegos en una pantalla más amplia.Nos ha funcionado muy bien, el dispositivo tiene bocina integrada pero su capacidad no es tan buena por lo que les recomiendo considerar añadir bocinas a través de un AUX. También nos ha Sido necesario usar un tripié o una repisa para colocar el proyector y ajustarlo a el espacio en el que nos encontremos.En cuanto a su función, la imagen se ve bien y cumple con la expectativa. :)

It’s all about expectations. If I had paid $450 for this projector, would I be happy with it? Absolutely not! But I only paid about a tenth of that, so I’m willing to overlook a couple flaws. Sound is good, picture is decent, and it’s relatively quiet. That said, it’s impossible to get focused across the entire picture if you are using any of the keystone correction, because you are just manually moving the mirror to square the corners. When using keystone. To avoid this problem, you have to mount it in such a way that the lense is straight on, which would basically put it right by your head. At that close range, you will notice a lot more noise, as well as heat coming from the left aide of the unit. Kind of a catch-22, so you have to decide which is more important.We’re using it in an RV in order to get a large-screen TV experience without the weight and bulkiness, and it works great for that! We just hook up the FireStick and we can watch just about anything. If you want to watch DVD’s and/or any other HDMI source, you will need a switcher device of some sort. Sure, you can plug/unplug in order to switch sources, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Plugs and sockets can wear out quickly when you do that. (Trust me, we have an older TV that had this happen, so one of the ports is unusable now.)The other issue is one that I think others complained about, that dust collects between the lense & mirror, and it is definitely noticeable on the screen. Other than those things, this is a great little gadget at a low-risk price.
