Really like that it fits with little additional modifications needed. Only needed to add a small washer between the canister and R5 steel exhaust tip. This spark arrestor flange is thicker then the indentation on the R5 canister. The washer is needed to fill the gap to prevent the carbon fiber cover from cracking when the screws are tighten down.I dislike the picture didn't accurately show the real product. The picture shows a different model (straight tip version) version received was the turn down tip version, which is the one I was hoping to get.I got this to quiet down my Rossier Engineering Full Exhaust. At the time of writing this 5/2/2022 there is no spark arrestor or silencer for the R5 or the R5 is race only and will have none.Db level was measure at the exhaust tip Height and 20 inches away at a 45 degree angle inside my 30 ft x 50ft shop. It was raining outside so I took it in doors. ***Db level could be lower if taken outdoors. Bike was warmed up at around 170f.Before the Yoshimura spark arrestor I was bouncing 94-104 dbAfter the Yoshimura spark arrestor was install I was bouncing 82-86 dbWith the spark arrestor install at around 3000 rpm I'm bouncing at 92-96 dbBike mods areFCI w/box+3 throttle bodyHC Stage 3PCVRossier Engineering R5 Full Exhaust

2007 CRF250R does not fit.Could not get in and even if I could there is nowhere fort the exhaust to escape

This is works great but depends on the muffler you might need to do some modifications to make it work. But overall it did the job and very on the bike.I tested my bike at 102 decibesl before i installed those on my bike, and it drop it down to 93 decibels and was able to pass Tüv in Germany without any issues.

Well built but not the same straight tip as shown in the product photo. I've included a picture of what it looks like. Was hopingit wind be a straight tip for what I'm using it for.

Awesome spark arrestor. The tip is solid metal so it does a great job of bringing down the sound levels, but I also imagine it reduced power somewhat. Build quality is excellent. I cut the solid metal tip off and then added mesh to get that flow back.

I managed to modify this to fit into a different aftermarket muffler and it works really well. The volume of sound was reduced by eh... 25% from what it was without. Now I can ride in the woods with a good spark arrestor. I imagine if you had the Yoshimura pipe it was designed for it would fit great and be a super easy install. Shipped quickly and looks really durable.

I used this to weld in place of a broken spark arrestor on a 2002 Kodiak 400 4x4 exhaust.It is just about a perfect fit to weld in place of the old bolt in model, and it costs $50+ dollars less.It seems to offer improved flow and sound over the original spark arrestor. The sound is deeper, maybe a little louder, and the exhaust is coming out with more force.

removed the "tweeter" from my KLR 650 stock muffler (google the procedure) and replaced it with this, then painted with hightemp black. very pleased with the result, I get the great deep sound I was looking for now but still the yoshi insert does a good job at keeping the decibels down nicely (I'm not a fan of loud exhausts). The spark arrester is a nice (and necessary) bonus, all for less than $20? no brainer.I'm also posting the dimensions (I received directly from Yoshimura) of this insert in the photo section, might help someone..
