They come in a package and appear to be pressed tightly together. They are all there though and as soon as you place one in water it magically becomes a really nice traditional sponge!!

These are great. They hold up very well during all of your cleaning tasks. When in their natural state they’re easy to store. Keep some in the bathroom for quick cleanup jobs.

I bought these to decorate for daughter’s party. They came as described and held strong. They were dehydrated flat and we had to hydrate them a day before the party. Hydrating these sponges were so neat and satisfying to watch. Will definitely buy these again.

For years from Amazon I have been ordering the same kitchen sponges to wipe up my granite kitchen counters, and now Amazon doesn’t sell the same ones!!Never thought I’d be picky about sponges…So, I bought these. They come flat, take up less space , when run under water these open up, and are nice sponges but not as big as my old ones.And why have sponges gone up, up, up in price???5 stars.

I wanted some sponges to sew with. I would have to rehydrate these, dry them out and then sew with them. I guess they did this so they take up less space in storage an shipping, but it doesn't work for my needs.

I like the compact sponges. So easy to pack away until needed. They pop right up in water and are a good size and quality.

I really like these sponges! I was a bit reluctant to try them since they look so much like other sponges you buy in the grocery store, but more expensive! I bought them because the colors match my cat curtains and kitchen mats. But was I surprised! These sponges are much softer and squishier than the cheaper models. And they seem to have some kind of soapy anti-microbial element built in to the sponge! I guess this is what keeps them clean! Anyway, they absorb as well as a normal sponge, but clean up as well! They are well worth the cost, and I’ll definitely buy again!
