Application is straightforward, find the middle point of the protector and line it up with the rear latch. Be sure to make a mark on the bottom of the protector so you can quickly line it up when the tape is off. Remove all tape liners and firmly press into place. I used a heat gun to help with the curing since it was cooler that day (50s). Once affixed it holds really well (3M HD adhesive). It also came with an extra roll of adhesive tape, which is great! Only complaint is the middle is not already marked, so it takes a few extra steps to get that lined up. Also no instructions on the box. Application is easy, but would have been nice to have them.

The appearance and seemingly durable quality is top notch. Now for the tape use to affix the piece to the car...To me it leave a lot to be desired compared to 3M and other double sticky tape and more sections of the part may have needed more tape as after application the areas between the tape have a bit of give when pressed on. Now, there was a roll of tape included in the shipment. I hope I really do not need it in the future. Also there were no instruction as to surface prep before application.

Fits just to the outer middle edge and length of the rear facia.Would’ve been nice if it fitted end to end of the trunk opening.
