I got this for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift (and also myself) and it works really well. I typically have a very large and loud fan in my room at night, and I feel like the sound output of this is nice. It’s definitely not as loud as a box fan, but if you put it on your nightstand it really works. It drowns out the sounds of the highway right above us very well and since it’s a real fan there’s no loop sound. Some people have mentioned a weird ringing noise but I have not had that experience.

Good white noise sound, but this model has only one setting for medium voice noise and does not have a high setting.

I suffer from ottosclerosis, (where my otto folks at!? 🙋♀️) and have 30% hearing loss (not bad!) But the side effect of hearing loss is NOISE (ringing, beeping, and all sorts of sounds in my ears all the time made worse in quiet environments like at night when going to sleep), and the ottosclerosis causes sounds to be distorted. This is the best sound machine I have tried and I have tried so many! I had been using a fan for years, but the whine of the motor bothered me. I tried electronic sound machines and my weird ears can hear all sorts of distortion and under tones. I finally decided to try this dohm machine. Many reviews say they are too quiet, but I find it extremely LOUD! Maybe the difference is that I live in the country down a dirt road and I am trying to drown out the silence, not cover up sound. Anyway, I ended up putting it in my closet and cracking the door. It is the most perfect "wooshing" sound. No whine from the motor, no variation, just a constant whooshing. I had originally bought the dohm version with the 2 speeds, but the twistable shell part rattled and the switch sparked whenever I turned it on! I returned that one and got this most basic model with just the on/off switch and it is so perfect 🤌

I heard this in a doctor office. So relaxing and drowns out all the annoying chatter. Adjustable volume and intensity. I sleep like a rock. Even my dog sleeps better. I will purchase again and this is a wonderful gift idea!! Portable, and well designed

Originally-I had given a review with more than one star, not thinking that this machine would STOP WORKING all together.... but IT HAS SINCE QUIT ON ME. I am FAR from happy and believe that I should be either refunded my money or have a new unit Shipped to me immediately THIS IS UNFAIR. I bought this unit on OCTOBER 22, 2024 and today is JANUARY 9, 2025- This is INSANE. Can the company contact me ASAP?? I am very VERY Upset. This is NOT RIGHT.I'M NOW WRITING AGAIN ON FEB 2ND, 25-Hello?? This is my third time trying to contact this company.. today is Feb 2nd 2025 and still haven't heard from this seller. I See THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS UNITS FUNCTION BEING NO MORE. IT ABRUPTLY STOPPED WORKING-LIKE MINE DID. I BOUGHT IT ON OCT 22 2024 AND IT CRAPPED OUT ON JAN 9TH 2025! Come On! This is robbery and then to not answer the customer? Not even an offer to fix the issue? No, they'd rather Straight up IGNORE The customer (me) hoping I'll just 'go away'. I like this white noise machine. I have another I got from Amazon in 2011, and it is still working, but is showing its age. I have this one on my nightstand, and like it better than an electronic background noise machine I have, because I like the sound of the real fan, and it does not cut off until you turn it off. If you let it run too long (say 12 hours), it does get warm to the touch, but, for me, it has done what I purchased it to do- block out noise, as I live in an apartment complex where people work different shifts and come and go at different times. I have a hybrid job, so some days I have to get up earlier than others, and if I go to bed early, it helps with the noise from other apartments, since quiet hours here don't start until 11 pm. It seems well made and sturdy, and I hope it lasts as long as my other one, which was made by a company called "sound screen".

It is thick plastic, makes white noise by pushing air through holes, and you can adjust the volume a little bit by rotating the top half. Also a nice mental reminder for me to sleep and my roommate to stfu.

My newest sleep apnea machine seems to make more background noise than my former one. This little device is able to cover that sound well, and drowns out many other sounds that could wake my wife.It's a great buy if you simply want a constant white noise to help you remain asleep.Despite the name, I do not do Yoga with this machine, unless downward man sleeping counts.

Just as good as my old one. Bought this as a replacement for my 10+ year old Original version in which the fan was starting to rattle. I hope to enjoy this new one for many more years! It perfectly drowns out background noises and helps me to sleep soundly. I even travel with it and it's especially helpful in hotels!
