These lights are perfect! Clip on, adjustable angle and rechargeable. Also a great price. We looked at a bunch of different sewing workspace lights and these are perfect for casting bright light where you need it

I just received these yesterday. They do seem bright, and I like the magnets and the movement of the head unit, but... I don't know about these clamps (I bought a set of two). The metal spring is very strong, and the plastic looks very cheap. I clamped one to a 1/2" board and the plastic jaws were bending under the stress! I then placed it on a countertop edge (about an inch and a quarter) and had to immediately remove it as it just looked like it was going to break as it bowed quite a bit. Oh, and I'd place some electrical tape over the magnets to ensure you don't damage painted surfaces; not sure why manufacturers don't already do similarly for us. Anyway, if I would have seen these on a shelf in a store, I would not have purchased them since I'm pretty sure these plastic clamps will not last long, as the spring is simply too much for the plastic, or the plastic is too cheap for the spring (however you want to look at it). I will try to remember to update here again as soon as one of them does break, though I will only place them on edges that are 3/4" or less at this point. Hmm... well, I really think I'll just use them in the stand position or with the magnets; I just don't feel comfortable using these clamps, and I know I'll just be irritated when they break. So... buyer beware.

A complete waste of money. I bought a pack of 2 but within only a few uses, both will no longer turn on - even though I charge them overnight and the battery level indicators show full. They briefly flash, and then turn off. They will turn on with the charge cord plugged in, but will not run on battery anymore. They are made of cheap lightweight plastic and will break easily. The electronics are extremely poorly designed and battery life was 10 mins tops - when they worked. I did not need them until after the Amazon return policy expired. I got hem for docking a boat at night, so when they failed, it was not good at all. Do not buy.

So far so good, I am loving these lights. Out of the box the lights are 3/4 charge and binding bright. I bought to use while barbecue doing the evening hours. Oh wow, there's so many other uses. Around the house, especially in emergencies, are doing some repair works. You can charge your phone if needed with the light battery. Very handy, when traveling, keep in your car. Will give you more feedback in about a month? Great product.

We bought these to illuminate the grill area at our local high school events. They will work perfectly, but don't expect the magnets to hold up the lights; even though they are very light. The clamps are nice and large, and seem like they will hold them where we need them. The lights pivot and turn. For $20ish they seem like quite the deal!!

I bought two lights. I tow a 10' trailer behind my SUV. I am often backing into tight areas - at night - and seeing what is going on behind my vehicle and trailer is VERY DIFFICULT. Now I put one on the back of my SUV and one clamped to the back of my trailer. Now I can back up into even the tightest conditions safely. I can see everything that is going on in my mirrors (or looking backward). The magnets allow me to put the lights anywhere on my SUV and flood the area with work lighting. The clamps work very well - and the lights can be rotated - and positioned to make them extremely useful. Five Stars! I will likely get one for each of my vehicles - and a couple for the house. Great lights.
