Thought about other types of cap organizers but glad I went with this one. Once you get the first one assembled the others are a breeze to complete. Very sturdy and the magnetic drop-down door is a nice touch. Have to admit, the fact that all six fit perfectly in my built-in shelf was sheer luck. I had planned on using another location but this worked out very well for me.

I ordered these to organize and store my husbands collection of baseball caps. I can easily fit about 10 caps per container, if I stack them compressed with back side pushed in. I like that you can see through the plexiglass so that you know which items are in which box. Sleek appearance, effective magnetic closure, and neat addition to a newly remodeled closet! Could be used to store a variety of items! Recommend!

I ordered these based on the advertised "ours... hard plastic... theirs... flimsy" but not so true. If you are looking for the hard crystal clear plastic like Glasshouse makes look else where. The only part of these boxes that is the nice crystal clear hard plastic is the front lid/door, the sides are made of that blurry flexible plastic that you would find on those large plastic container bins that you find at Target, Walmart or Ikea but these are much thinner so even more flex than those bins. But for approx. 1/8 of Glasshouse price they do the job they keep my hats from collecting dust and its a pretty rigid storage box so it can withstand light things like clothes or souvenirs on it.The assembly is pretty easy but make sure you get the right direction, the walls have on open end (for the lid/door side) and a walled off/closed end for the back at the bottom where the tabs of the walls fit into the tops and bottoms, if you put those in backwards it will not fit right or even break. The boxes also have small indentations for some included plastic dowels to keep them from sliding on each other when stacked.Even with the misleading advertising considering the price it's still a pretty good buy but if you want the nice looking crystal clear hard plastic enclosure all the way around then go with Glasshouse or custom which will be about 8x the price.

These hat organizers are amazing and they look great. They are sturdy and were so easy to assemble.These hat organizers make it easier for him to find the cap he wants to wear and they keep the caps from getting full of dust. They also allowed us to free up over 5 1/2 feet of upper closet space.He coordinated the organizers the way he wanted and each one still has plenty of space to add more. Once I put them in his closet, he was very happy with how they look and asked me to order another set. Overall we're very happy and feel we made an excellent choice.

I am a hat guy. I wear hats daily, typically baseball caps and have a mix of casual/everyday hats, sports team hats, hats specific for golf, etc. Historically, I have piled them up on a dresser/shelf or in my closet so I have been looking for a better way to organize. I have tried the hat clips and stands, but I always found something I didn't like about each one I tried. I finally decided it was time to try hat boxes, and these have been the perfect solution! These boxes are great - easy access to my hats, sturdy, and stackable (there are little pegs to keep boxes stacked and in place), and it cuts down on the dust since they are enclosed.I organize my hats into groups that work for me (e.g., all my golf hats into two specific boxes, sports team hats in two boxes, some by color, etc.). The boxes easily hold 6-8 hats each but vary based on hat style. Keeping the same 'style' (straight brim vs curved brim, etc) helps more hats fit in each box. Access to my hats couldn't be easier, with the flip-up door on the front, and I love how they fit perfectly on the top shelf of my closet, keeping everything clean, and organized (and kept that way). I may buy another set of hat boxes soon for the new hats I have already started to acquire this golf season (I actually purged some old hats when I got these). I have had these boxes for 6 months now, and they are durable and I don't have any complaints about quality for their use case.If you have the room, and it makes sense for you, I would recommend storing your hats in these boxes.
