They say these are roller skate laces but I got them for my hiking boots. They do come in a number of colors, but I got the black with white highlights. The key measurement is the length. I removed an old lace, measured it, and matched that to the size selection provided on this page.

My skates have reinforced eyelets on the backing of every hole on my boots. These lace aglets are too large for the eyelets of my boot.

Satisfied with this purchase. The skate strings are the right lengths and are strong, they feel better quality than the strings that came on the skates. Happy with this brand!

I have this 5 stars because I have no issues with them and they look perfect and the length is great as well. The only thing I wish was a little different is that they had a little more elasticity. What I mean is, the original strings I had stretch a little more, so when you pull it tight the strings become thinner, which makes it easier when lacing or un-lacing, as they slide thru the eyelets so much easier. But it's only a minor issue and how often are you going to lace and un-lace?

Laces are 71" long. They work fine on my roller skates. They don't seem to be heavily waxed, but they stay tied with no problem and don't slip. The clear aglets are on tight. You get 2 pairs (4 laces).I have black boots. The laces I got are black with white dots so they match well. I added black Sure-Grip ZeroNutz so I have a tough-looking, blacked out skate setup now. They do offer several other colors, too.I am a recreational skater and not hard on my equipment. I believe these laces will last me a long time.

The neon green color of both pairs matches the listing perfectly, and they complement shoes with green accents exceptionally well. (Assuming you choose green) They are tightly stitched and have no loose strands.I have no complaints, except for the high price of the laces, which are roughly 1/4th the price of a simple pair of skates. However, the laces' high quality is undeniable.

I use a well known name brand for my family's skate laces, but I though I'd try these to keep in the bag as backups. They will work, but they are a far cry from being the same as I'd expect. They are thinner than most laces, and really are not waxed like you'd expect for waxed laces.Overall though, they will work and may last a while for most rec skaters.
