I put oil and fuel and it started right up once once you move the throttle up a little bit. Until you move that throttle it will not start. And the compression is pretty damn good. For the money I'm thinking about making all my things diesel.

I bought it for a diesel 2.6kw generator i planned to gear for. And to try making plastic diesel.I added about 0.85qt of 15-40w diesel oil (to full on mine)Diesel, then you need to prime the fuel line. Remove it on bottom, let fuel run out and then fill pump hole. Then reattach, push level down and pull!!It has a TON of compression. Be sure its bolted down or it probably won't happen by yourself. You'll pull it off the ground when it's compression hits.Running it chugged away perfect when I fired mine. Throttle does need opened a little.I'm am tickled to death. I bought a 10hp too.
