After less than 3 months of use the welding around the ring that connects the hoop came off on both ends. Very disappointing!

I ordered this to use at our summer home for my son and I to shoot hoops in the backyard.The product was packaged well, the directions are not as detailed as one would like, but my son and I managed to put this together in about 45 minutes or so.The rim is not premium quality nor is the backboard. The biggest draw back for us however was that this hoop is not readily height adjustable. The only way to adjust the height is to manually unbolt and then adjust the mounting pole and then reattach the bolts. This is a bit of drawback especially for storage and when little ones want to play.I would say this is a modest budget hoop that won't break the bank, but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who plans to use this more than once a week, as the durability of the product doesn't feel like it's built to last or for prolonged use.If you're a serious basketball enthusiast look elsewhere, if you just want a hoop to be used every once in a while, then this will suffice.

If you don’t need to move it to store it or you don’t plan on playing too much with it. This is the basketball hoop to order. It says it’s adjustable but you literally have to take it apart to store it or to adjust the height. Back board is made of plastic, hoop is easily bendable.
