For a low to the ground thing, this felt a little easy to tip over. The angled ring didn't secure, it just sat on top. I guess if there's no possibility of anything ever bumping it… cool. But a little flimsy. Also GU10 bulbs =[

I currently have these lights in faux olive trees. The ambiance that they give, uplighting the trees, is beautiful. If you're going to do this, make sure your pot is large enough because they are a good size. I have them halfway hidden in moss. The power button is easy to use, you can leave it on the floor and just step on it, or hide it in moss and press on it. I might add that I have another set of these from a different seller and those include a remote. This one did not.

These lights are fine, but there are a few issues with this product so I'm docking a star. We've actually already replaced them with another product to be honest.- The feet on these don't do a good enough job keeping it stable, so they're prone to tipping over, especially as the cord is very stiff and if anything disturbs the cord sometimes they'll tip over.- The floor switch is too close to the lights. Lights like these go in corners and areas where they're hidden, so it's challenging to get to the switch if you've done that.- The default LED lights are very white and austere, so we wound up replacing them with bulbs with a warmer tone almost immediately.- The rotating top shade sits on top of the light but doesn't really attach, so when the lights tip over, it falls off.

These are okay accent lights. The biggest issue is the feet. Even on a low-pile carper I have difficulty getting them to stand because the cord coming out of the bottom pushes the light over. The included LED is good and I like that you can replace the bulb with a normal halogen if you wanted to change the lighting.

This uplight is really nice. I'm all about indirect lighting, adding light where it needs to be rather than just bringing the sun indoors. It's often difficult to find floor lights that don't look cheap or basic. These have a really nice metal body, they feel substantial and stable. The optional ring on the top is also metal and freely moves around which is helpful to allow you to orient it as needed while still keeping the power cord facing the correct direction. The paint is flat black, doesn't seem to easily scuff, and helps the lamps fade into the background. The decision to use the GU10 bulbs allows for a lower profile bulb which helps, along with the ring, to keep the light source from glaring in your eyes. It also does provide a bit more of a focused light source vs a general glow, so that's important to keep in mind as you consider use cases. I wish they came with a 5000k bulb instead of the 3000k, but that's my personal lighting preferences so I don't really hold that against it.I got these to highlight an iron ornament 'tree' for the holidays, but I already have a number of other uses that will keep them in action all year. Very nice.

These Uplighting Indoor Spotlights are so cool. I can use them for my tiktok videos. I put smart bulbs in them and then put them behind the chair I sit in. They wash the walls in any color I need! I highly recommend them!

This is a great uplight. The top part of the cylinder is removable. This made installation of the GU10 bulb much easier. We are using these uplights along with "smart" colored GU10 bulbs that are compatible with Alexa. Each of these uplights are positioned behind potted plants that we have scattered throughout the home. The size of the uplights make them more-or-less inconspicuous (We are using them for 5 foot tall potted plants.).We simply install the smart bulb, connect it to Alexa, choose the color lighting we desire, then place the uplight behind the potted plant. Each potted plant is placed in a corner of a room. This makes the uplight inconspicuous.I give this item 5 stars mostly because the tops of the cylinders are removable, thereby making it very easy to install the GU10 bulb.
