VERY well-made welder that has a weighty, quality feel. The trigger feels like it will last a long time. The power cord is a good length. The staples are the issue for me; they are very hard metal and difficult to snip. When you do manage to clip one - it literally pops off like a mini bullet or dart. I had one stick into my palm, drawing blood. Others went pinging off of the walls in the workshop. After maybe a dozen staples, the included side-cutters were notched and ruined. They seem a decent quality, but the staples are simply a much harder metal. This is a great kit but either use lighter-strength staples or get heavy duty cutters. But wear eye protection and do not use this around kids or pets. There would also be the heart danger. You could use a rotary type cutting tool on the staples - that would work for the included staples. A great value overall.

I’ve used this a few times and it may not be something I will use a lot, however it does do the job well! If you have anything plastic that you need welded together this is your stapler.

This is a perfect product to avoid Frankensteining with zip ties. I wish this product was available back when I used to Frankenstein motocross plastic after crashing.

Buying this was cheaper than replacing my trashcan. Very solid build. I have a decent soldering and hot air station from same company. I used staples in low density polyethylene and heated up super fast to sink in. Will make quick work of anything. The snips that come with it, throw them right in the trash. This is an amazing value.

Fairly easy to use, very fast to heat up. Built in LED light really helps my tired, old eyes when working in dimly lit areas. The short video in the ad is self explanatory on how to use it, please watch it. I'm sure there are plenty of other youtube videos to spark your creativity. You simply insert the metal staples into the 2 barrels, squeeze the trigger to heat the staples. Make sure the staple the red hot so that it melts into the plastic material in 1 fell swoop. Release the trigger as you approach the end point to make sure you don't go out the other side. Wait for it to sufficiently cool before pulling the gun away from the staple. Once the plastic has completely cooled and the staple(s) is stable, cut the protruding ends with a wire cutter and sand it down to smooth if necessary. If you're a belt and suspender kind of guy, I would consider epoxy glue to supplement and increase rigidity & stability.
