Very good quality , came with lots of universal fittings, bolts and screws. Setting it up on my 2012 Mazda 3 took about 30 minutes. Super easy. Thanks !

When I ordered this roof rack for my ski trip, Amazon said it was compatible with my 2015 Fiat 500. However, the slope of my doors makes it impossible to secure the rack to my car, despite trying all of the various attachments. It is dangerous to use this with a Fiat 500, do not buy! It becomes loose very easily at highway speeds, even without any cargo/skis/snowboards attached. I will be returning these. Don’t waste your money, buy a roof rack that is actually compatible with your car. It will save you lots of time and stress!

They fit UNTIL you did the 'test' to see if they were secure. I tightened all fasteners as tight as I could and I was still able to remove them easily with one hand. My cross bars for my old car were a different design but a pain to install but I NEVER had them come loose in the 10 years I had them. These new ones were designed so different that I sent them back as they would not have remained on the roof even without anything strapped to them. DO NOT BUY!

Used on a Toyota Crown does not attach easily. If we went above 55 it would slide back. Luckily we had a sunroof so we could keep an eye on it. When it started to slide we had to pull over and readjust. We drove from TX to CA and back. Would not recommend if you don't want to have to pull over to keep fixing it.

Do not buy this item! I followed the instructions (such as they were) for installing these items to a tee, and even used additional videos to make sure they were as secure as they could be. But the design of this item is such that as you clamp it down to get it tight, the feet rise up out of the rubber pads, and then they will slide. 2 hours into a 4 hour trip with kayaks mounted, these units had slid 6 inches and were in danger of coming off altogether. I had to pull the kayaks down and tie them down in the back of the truck to get to my destination. The instructions for this unit are extremely poor, and even if you get it installed correctly, they will move on your during transport. Do NOT BUY.

Cheap product and poof performanceThis didn’t fit exactly the way it shouldAnd tightening the clamp down is flawed as the square drive of the screw is able to rotate in the cutout of plastic bracket and this under stress strips it out and spins as you tighten itOnce I fudged it and got it installed it looked ok but, in use it failed as the crossbar bent easily under simple weight load(Just the front end of a canoe strapped down )Going to probably just throw them out and get a real set of crossbarsI was told you get what you paid for by my wife!Cheap equals crap!

Had no issue fitting to my 2010 kia optima with the shortest hooks. The end caps are too small and made of poor quality plastic and 2 failed on install. I'll try to ask for replacements and update based on the service I receive.

Don’t waste your money shows metal brackets they are actually plastic. The hole for the carriage bolt is bigger than the bolt so when you try to tighten it the bolt just turns in the plastic and will not tighten. Should provide the proper pieces instead of cheap plastic

The good: They send 3 different types of corner brackets so you can fit to many configurations; I actually had to mix and use 2 different ones for the front than the back. The bad: The 4 bolts that hold the 4 corners are "square head" and are "supposed" to fit into the inside of the plastic corner backets and lock in place to "square holes" so they do not spin when you are tightening the round turn knobs. The bolts they sent, the square part was too small, and spun freeely without locking.Further complicating this - they have a smooth 1/2 round head so you can not grab it with pliers to hold the bolt from spinning so you can tighten the the knobs.I had to go to Lowes and grab 4 bolts threaded the same M8 x 40 metric, with standard hex heads so I could reach behind with pliers and hold them while tighteneing the front knob.Overall I don't feel very confident and I recommend spend more money and get one with fixed screw holes and keyed locks. I may return these....I upped my star to 4, because although they slide forward or backward, I realize any racks you buy are going to do the same thing. I pre-drilled holes in the part of the bracket that goes into the underside of the top window frame (where you can't see it) and screwed the brackets to the top car door jamb/frame.AGAIN: If you are not a handy person, and these aren't installed securely, they're "iffy".I'd definitely feel better if all parts were metal and not platic knobs.

As many others have noted, these have a fatal flaw: the hole for the carriage bolt that secures the foot clamp is oversized (and is just a plastic hole, with no metal insert), so when you try to tighten it, it immediately strips**, rendering the rack useless.FIX: Because this rack was cheap and also is a hard-to-find width, I decided to fix this and found a way that works: smear a generous bead of JB weld around the square shoulder of the carriage bolt before inserting, enough that it fills the gap. When it dries the bolt is permanently secured, and can be tightened down no problem.Other than being a cheap piece of junk that you have to fix before using, the product is fine - the extrusions seem strong enough, and everything's there, especially if you need a wider unit (most are only 48").**In case you think this was user error, I've done everything from swapping car engines to sailboat rigging to welding and installing complete custom vehicle racks, so I know my way around a fastener. This is a case of the product having a core flaw built in.

They look great but when tightening the bolts the plastic hole they go into strip so they can't be tightened firmly to your car

If you need a roof rack, this is not it! The way the item clamps to the vehicle is made out of plastic that strips very easily making it to where you cannot tighten the clamps to the car. Even when tightened its still very loose and dangerous. If you don't have mounting points Id suggest maybe drilling and tapping new mounting points to the roof, thats what I did and its saved me my peace of mind.
