It's what I needed as a decoration, but I wouldn't recommend as an actual picnic basket. Its small, and you can tell it will break if you put anything heavy in it at all. A piece of the handle kind of looks like it's cracking, but it'll do for what I need. If you need an actual picnic basket, this is not for you. But like i said, if you need it as decor and don't plan on carrying it around...it's fine.

I bought this to help me move things around my house more efficiently, rather than gathering stuff up haphazardly in my arms or making multiple trips to and from the kitchen, dining room, basement, etc. I get SO much use out of this basket, and though it's small, it's very very sturdy, and it carries more than you might think! It would of course be great for a small picnic or something like that, but if you too want to feel dainty and old-fashioned while efficiently hauling piles of crud around your house, this might just be the basket for you.

Got this basket for V-Day and was able to fit a bottle of wine, two glasses and food into it with plenty of room for other items. The basket was well received by my wife for the thought. Good investment for dates and for the summer months for picnics
