Let me begin by saying that I NEVER write reviews. I felt compelled to do so even it saves just ONE person from finding themselves in a similar circumstance, as my own, and seeking a refund!With that said, initially I was VERY excited to receive the chair. It looks just like the photos so I was looking forward to gifting it to my ten year old son.Other than his bed, he needed somewhere that he could sit to watch television, in his room, or play video games.Unfortunately, only a month had passed and the recliner is already broken. He’s an an only child so he’s the only one utilizing the chair according to its design.He LITERALLY leaned back and the particle board that controls the reclining motion just cracked.Now the chair can not be positioned upright. It’s just leaning to the side, as depicted in the photos. For the price of this chair, it should definitely have better functionality.The concept of the chair is fun. Sadly, it is made VERY cheaply.

Real easy to assemble. Easy to wipe clean. But there is no lever to recline the foot rest. And when the child pulls it out and then goes to climb up, the seat comes back forward and the foot rest closes back up.
