The last time I ordered legal pads, I bought the Amazon Basic version. The perforation on them was poor, so I decided to spend 20% more and get what I thought would be a better legal pad. The paper is high quality and thicker than the Amazon Basic version, but the page size is 1/2" shorter. But, the most significant difference is that there are only 30 sheets in a pad, versus 50 sheets in the Amazon Basic version (my bad, as it was stated in the description, but I assumed that 50 sheets was the standard number). While these legal pads are very good, they are substantially more expensive when you consider the fewer sheets.

Perfect legal pad. The pages tear off without ripping. It’s also the perfect size for a clipboard. Pages aren’t too thin either
