I got these for my ginger bug "soda" And I am very pleased with them. All arrived intact, The wire swing cap works awesome. Very air tight. Took me a minute to figure out how to open them but using both your thumbs and push and it pops open super easy that way. Im very pleased with these and will be buying more.

The entire shipment of bottles arrived intact, individually packed in bubble wrap. The mouth of the bottle is wide enough to allow ingredients to to be added. The mechanism to open or close it takes a bit of force, but gives a good seal.

I just needed some bottles for keeping some super juice and a few more infusions as I grow the bar. These do the trick perfectly. The funnel was a happy inclusion bc I needed one anyway and definitely forgot about it so cheers to yall.

These bottles work for everything. They have a great seal and don't leak. They were pretty easy to figure out. It takes a little force to close but that's to be expected. The Glass is sturdy and just the right size.

I have been brewing kombucha using this same brand of bottles for a month now (which were listed elsewhere on Amazon as "swing top bottles", and included a silicone funnel and black labels). I really liked them because they're strong and keep in the carbonation.I saw these beer bottles thinking it was the same as the swing top ones purchased previously, just with extra seals instead of the funnel and labels. I was wrong...they are a taller and narrower bodied bottle.See picture attached. A previously purchased swing top filled with kombucha and an empty green grolsch bottle for comparison. These bottles are closer in shape to the traditional grolsch bottle.These bottles seem to have a secure seal, and seems to be even tighter than my swing top ones, but not too tight that I can't flip the lid on, which is good. I say these bottles will serve me well.I'm not too fussy that my bottles don't match. I use anything that is strong and reliability seals in the carbonation, so I am not complaining. Just wanted to point it out to others who might not realize that this company sells 2 shapes of clear flip top bottles.

As the others have said that have been drowned out by the review bots... this product does not sit flat, it rocks and is unstable. Avoid.

these are very good bottles. they hold a very good seal for fermenting kombucha. the glass seems to be thick of good quality. I bought these to replace others I bought on Amazon, which i advise to stay away from. They are Otis _ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LB1862A?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title, do not buy these. terrible quality.

While I bought them for kombucha, I find it easier to keep up with how much water I drink by pre-filling a number of bottles and drinking from them through the day. It's convenient that they are 500ml each and easily counted to determine a total for the day. The glass is thick and robust. The spare seals was an extra touch. I'd buy again.

These bottles are heavy duty and have stainless hardware, however, it is clear they are, at best, factory seconds. Every bottle has multiple defects and flaws cast into the glass. I'm a bit concerned that under pressure they may not hold CO2 gas bubbles evenly, because most of the bubble defects and flaws are located along the long, thinner walled sections of the body of the bottles.On the plus side, the bails are stainless.they all attach snugly to the bottles and form a seal. The white stoppers seem to be some Bakelite type of hardened plastic. I have other bottles that are identical and they do fine, but these are not ceramic, which makes me feel less comfortable they might leech plasticy chemicals into acidic brews.I did not notice any chips on the drinking area, and none on the surfaces of the glass or curves. There are just 2 to 4 bubbles in each bottle, as well as marks that remind me of the marks on the bottom of ceramic vessels where they are placed on the trivetina kiln to lift them off the floor during firing. That's not how bottles are made, but they seem like a similar kind of flaw, and I don't trust they will be as strong and reliable as unflawed bottles.***** Update:Used for one batch of Kombucha, so far, none have exploded. Fermented 3 oz of strawberry basil juice for the second ferment 2.5 days and it had adequate fizz, not tons, and did hold the seal once refridgerated. I uncapped it with a dishtowel in the sink, slowly, released a little gas and resealed, and repeated until the glass dissipated enough to keep the liquid in the bottle. The glass did withstand this process fine. Will give an update if failures or successes ensue. I hate to give a negative review, but my opinion that the glass is of poor manufacturing quality is still the case. They don't have ceramic Stoppers, and the stainless bail definitely is a little bit looser and has a less firm seal when it's clamped down.They did arrive safe and unbroken and were well packed. But the quality of the glass is visibly less good than other identical shaped and differently branded bottles. These have a sticker added to the plastic caps.Second update:These are plenty good enough. Yeah, the glass has flaws. But I've used them 6 months now with NO issues. I also take them to people at school to drink and give back for refills, so who knows about them getting transported and shuffled around, etc. They have all been fine.
