Each leg is adjustable in height, making it work for a range of bike sizes. I installed it on a bike with 27" wheels and still had some more height left on the adjustment. The adjustment is easy - just push the red button in and move the leg up or down. Due to the mechanism used for the adjustment, I suspect it is not real strong and would not sit on the bike while on this kickstand.Mounting is easy especially if your bike has a flange for a kickstand. If you don't have the flange, this includes a bracket piece to clamp onto the two lower rear tubes.Spring tension is good and the stand holds in place when up or down. It does not bounce or rattle.I installed this on a beach bike and I'm concerned how long it will last before rusting away. I'll update this in the future with an endurance report.

This is the second Kick Stand like this that I have ordered and installed. I installed and reviewed the first one, from a different seller, for my mountain bike and loved it, so I got this one for my road bike. It fits my Lemond Cyclocross Aluminum-framed bike with 700C wheels and tires perfectly, as seen in the posted images. There are no instructions included: it's that simple to install. All that is needed is an eight millimeter Allen wrench. Remove the mounting bolt and insert it through the frame, then tighten it down—this takes approximately three minutes for a complete installation. The length of the stand arms is adjustable via a push-button mechanism, allowing it to fit just about any conceivable mix of frames and wheel sizes. It is far more stable than the 'leaning style' of kickstands. Great if you're touring or grocery shopping with your bike and the carrier is heavily loaded, or if you're loading bags while on the bike, and they become uneven in weight. This kickstand remains stable, ensuring your bike won't tip over. Its legs are made of super-tough nylon, and the body is constructed of rugged aluminum. It is built to last the lifetime of a bike or longer. This product is very reasonably priced and excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it.

I have mountain bike that was pretty expensive. It didn't come with a kickstand. And while I understand the reasoning behind not having one on the bike, it's a constant problem. I've been looking for something that would be better than a typical side stand but really hadn't found anything. That is, until I discovered this one...To start off, this is really well made. It's aluminum and relatively light. The welds are beautiful. It has a very nice finish. This stand is heavy duty and made to last.It was was simple to install and worked perfectly the first time I tried it out. It's adjustable so I was able to get it set exactly right to support my bike without hitting the rear tire when folded. The spring mechanism is sturdy. I can't imagine that this could easily deploy when trail riding over rocks and bumps. It is such a nice setup. The value is amazing. A performance bicycle store would charge 3-4 times what this one costs. I truly can't say enough good about it. Really great stand!I wholeheartedly recommend this. It's an outstanding value. Great seller, excellent product, and fast shipping by Amazon. Order with confidence!

PROS: convenient installation if the bicycle frame supports the configuration, lightweight, adjustable heightCONS: lower finish quality (missing paint, casting imperfections. This is an average kickstand that suffers from machining and painting imperfections. The lowering motion of the kickstand is not as smooth as expected.

I dislike typical center mount kickstands. If the stand is down and you roll the bicycle backwards, the crank arm invariably runs into the kickstand and gets the bicycle stuck. On the Trek I use with this kickstand, it stays out of the way of the crank arm. It is a beautiful thing! This kickstand is everything it says it is with one exception. As seen in my photo, the kickstand leaves a noticeable gap on one end with the mounting plate for kickstands. This kickstand mounting hardware is simply too wide to fit right!I was planning to use the original kickstand's bolt to mount this new hardware, but while the original bolt seemed to thread through the new hardware just fine, the new hardware's bolt doesn't fit into the original kickstand's mounting hole. That tells me the two bolts may not have exactly the same threads, so I end up using the much longer bolt that comes with this new kickstand to mitigate any risk of thread stripping.

This Bike Kickstand is a fantastic find for my bicycle. You will need to pay attention to frame-to-ground distance, as tire sizes varies between bike models. This kickstand is compatible with bikes which have a frame-to-ground distance between 10.5" and 13", maximum compatibility is 2" tires, or thinner, that are 24". 26".27.5" and 29".The kickstand has adjustable length with double leg design. Equipped with button design, just press the button to adjust the length and find optimal length for your bike. It has excellent stability, with the double legs having wider soles/feet.Easy Installation: The center mount bicycle stand is easy to install. Simply fix it below the middle fork of your bike frame, and you're ready to go. No complicated tools or steps needed. As long as your bicycle's size is compatible with the kickstand, it can be installed and used, regardless of whether there is a center mount plate. With ease of installation, fit and function. Highly recommend!
