It does the job! This might be operator error, but the yarn slips out of the arm kinda easily and the yarn starts winding around the base and can be a little frustrating. But like I said, that could be my fault and it’s so much better than winding by hand and it was in my budget.

This product works great and it can go pretty fast but some times the yarn gets wrapped around the bottom but overall is a really good product, would recommend

I didn't want to give this product 5 stars. I actually hoped to find something to criticize - just so no one would think I was giving it a great score because I got it free.But I can't find a reason to give it less than 5 stars. It's easy to set up, winds yarn that is bulky, medium and baby fine equally well. I was even able to wind 2 different medium yarns together for a project that I want to use both at the same time.The only negative thing I can think of is that I'm going to go thru yarn more quickly. It's so easy to wind and easier to work with - that projects will fly - so I'll be spending more on yarn - because this works so well.

I like this because it is no brainer set up a simple twist on spool and they easy clamp on really holds on and is pretty versatile on what you can clamp it onto. i did have to bend the yarn tension arm a tiny bit out because i was trying to cake chunky yarn but still works great even for plushy yarn!

DUPDMKIN Yarn Winder arrived packaged well and in perfect condition. It's easy to set up, the clamp is adjustable and has rubber to keep it in place. The hand crank works smoothly, making quick work of winding skeins of yarn. It looks nice and doesn't take up a lot of space. It's made well, with quality materials and even includes a large storage bag!
