Seems solidly woven and lacquered. Nice for displaying uncut fruit or keeping stuff like sunglasses, assorted keys—any Group of similar objects— in one place. (I definitely would not use it for serving moist food, though I covered it with an open napkin and used it for hamburger buns.)

Needed something versatile, pretty, and can be used for right about anything. This set of 3 Rattan baskets looks stunning filled with fruit and bread. I use these when guests come for brunch or fill with bread for grilling. These baskets are worth the money.
