All the tongs I have ever bought have fallen apart, rusted, and became unusable in some way.These will never become unusable.Grippers for food, that work like tweezer, and can do some above average lifting.Great product.

This was a gift for a highly particular NYC young-adult experienced foodie chef with a well-stocked kitchen and who enjoys experimenting and having just the right whatever for her creative culinary adventures. She was thrilled and didn't have anything quite like it. The movement "mechanism" and product appeared to be premium quality and functional, as was the box it came in, which made a classy presentation. (The other kitchen utensils I gave were left behind, as packing was tight; so I guess that says something good about this item:))

I got these to have a more precision tong especially in wok cooking. With the angled walls, it's hard to use a spatula and larger tongs to flip certain pieces you want browned on all sizes. These work great to hold up something for temp testing, taste test, and stirring. Great for making Chinese scrambled eggs and fried rice, too! Some heavier items are harder to maneuver, but these are great!

食洗機対応、シリコンで手触りも良いけど高温にも対応、調理台に先端が触れないから汚れず、菜箸と違ってバラけないから使い勝手が良い。調理の際の些細な不満をすべて解消してくれるので大変使い勝手が良いです。ホントに使いやすい。

I have never particularly cared for how difficult it was to clean the enclosed areas in the lock/spring style tongs, so I decided that it was time to look for an alternative. Thankfully, Yamazaki's tongs are just that. They are reminiscent of cooking chopsticks as far as the size of the tongs go, which does mean that there is less surface area to pick up and manipulate items than the typical western brand tongs. As a result, expect to use a little more pressure with these tongs to maintain a firm grip on whatever you are cooking.That being said, there are no crevices, no springs, and no pockets that are inaccessible to a dish sponge when it is time to clean the utensil. The icing on the cake is the fact that it also has integrated stands to keep the tips elevated while the utensil is not in use. Extremely convenient if you are cooking outside and don't have a great place to rest them.

Use these all the time. Perfect for getting things out of the air fryer, stir fry, turning items in a skillet etc. I bought them out of curiosity and they’re so useful. Comfortable precise grip, built in stand and definitely would recommend.

This is such a simple and yet great item. The silicone washes easy, can go in the washer and makes me unafraid to use in high heat. It's got a good length and you can use it anywhere. Unlike cooking chopsticks, they don't separate so it's always easy to grab and use. Super functional, great for any cooking! Buying another pair.

These are not heavy duty tongs. They're good for small/light items, with decent enough grip that I haven't had issues picking things up. I'd use them in the same situations I'd use cooking chopsticks (like stir frying noodles or flipping a bunch of smaller things over for pan frying), as they're not as finicky and doesn't tire my wrist out as much. They're good if you use a lot of non-stick pans.The tips can sometimes misalign if you press them weird because the entire thing isn't as rigid as traditional tongs. Storage is also annoying with these, since they can't stay closed by themselves. Overall, okay for the price, but be aware that these aren't going to work for heavier items.

I was SOOO SOOOOOO happy when these were delivered!! Top notch quality, I know I'll never have to replace these unless I make a massive mistake somehow! Haha!!• The little feet on them are actually functional, because the product quality is great and the utensil is well balanced overall.• Heavy duty silicone coating whatever material they used on the interior for structure. So I'm not worried about having these in the dishwasher constantly due to constant use.• Maybe one of the biggest things to note - these truly do function more like tongs than tweezers. The "opening" is more than wide enough to grab hold of items like an average-sized chicken breast from the grocery store. It looks to me like comparable items for sale function more like tweezers and do not open very much (personal opinion).• These come with a little leaflet in the box (it's also a nicely packaged item!), but it's a Japanese company so the leaflet is in Japanese. This didn't concern me because... they're silicone tongs... I'll use them for cooking as intended.I'm actually so impressed with the quality that I looked up the brand name (Yamazaki) to see what other household items they make. I won't hesitate to buy more products from this company!
