Easy to perform your own tune up and with tune ups beyond reasonable costs these days it literally pays to do it yourself. Plus, you can see where you maybe paid people in the past to do a job and they didnt.This kit made quick work of changing the lower gear oil. I did have to buy an additional container of gear oil to have enough for my motor.

Great buy for my 150 VMAX outboard, complete with gaskets and pump. Saved a lot of money by getting enough for 2 changes. Where I live, it is very expensive at our local marine store. Amazon is your best bet for OEM gear oil.

It has everything you need to do it 'right'. Was simple, right stuff. Not really more expensive than getting all the items at the boat store. This and the oil change kit, annual maintenance costs go WAY down (instead of taking boat in for seasonal maintenance!

Oil and O-ring are OEM and no issues. The pump fits perfect on the oil pint and the adapter was perfect for my outboard foot. Took about half of the oil. You need this, go for it.
