These artists were not satisfied with any commercial models available. They came to us because they had confidence that if anyone had the skill needed to create their own ‘dream’ mouthpiece, it was Yamaha. The players knew from the experience gained in their long careers exactly the kind of sound and response they wanted, and our technicians knew from their long experience in crafting instruments how to deliver it.

This doesn't have anything really "special" to note in it's sound, not to say it doesn't sound great because it does, but where this piece really shines is in the comfort department. The rim is silky smooth and almost feels "soft". I was able to comfortably play longer than normal without fatigue on this one, liked it so much I bought another and the matching trumpet piece :) At this price this is an absolute steal!

For the high notes ,you can easily play with this I went to high F but I am a new player.

I have the Trumpet mouthpiece as well which is a powerful lead sound. This Flugel mouthpiece is flexible between power and mellow and is great with my Conn Vintage One; looks great too!
