It's nice that it integrated into the drum set and gives so sense of the sound coming from the specific piece you're playing. But it is overall pretty quiet and made for home use. Can have some trouble with clipping if turned up too high. An auto off would be nice since the switch can be hard to get to since it's buried in the kit on the sub.

sounds good. Just be careful with the pin connection on the back. Dont jam in it. I purchased a “new” one and amazon sent me one where the cable pins were smashed in. They sending replacement.

Just what I was looking for. Clean and punchy. Works great so far. Low-end response could be a little better, but it gets the job done, going as low as maybe 45hz.

Highly impressed with the output of these speakers on my yamaha dtx6k2-x. Great sound with plenty of depth and color. Nice work, Yamaha developers!!

Works good, sounds good! Didnt appreciate having to go to the music store to buy special connectors, to be able to plug into the very system this was made for! But the connections were $4 so I'll live.

I was looking for an authentic sound that also gave me a surround sound feeling and this delivers! I gave this 5 stars because the two mounted speakers sound amazing! They give you the feeling that the hi-hat is on the left and the other cymbals are on the right. The big speaker that sits on the ground let’s you feel like the bass is coming from where it should. I also love that you cannot hear the sound of your sticks hitting the pads when you are playing. It does a great job picking up the highs and lows from the bass and cymbals. I use it on my Yamaha dtx electronic drums. I didn’t just want one amp on the ground that all the sound come from and so I really like that it comes with three speakers and the two that are mounted are closer to ear level. I do wish the bass sounded a little deeper but for the price range it does a great job. The only downside is that you cannot plug headphones into it. Also, if you only have one output you will need to purchase a y cable with it. But overall I’d recommend it to everyone!
