There's absolutely no difference when I play my alto Eb trombone with the PM5X versus this PM6X. It is a non-needed purchase, stating that we need to buy this - not accurate, just wanting more money!

Works just like the one I got for the trumpet. Use it all the time while I'm waiting for the doctor. Try it. One time, when I quit, a patient apparently asked the receptionist "Who turned off the radio?"
