Haven't been on the water with it yet but my Garmin Striker 4 transducer mounts easily and it looks like it will work out on my kayak perfectly.

El brazo se dobla frecuentemente. Si lo aprietas mucho no lo puedes manipular, y si lo dejas muy flojo se mueve mucho al momento de meterlo al agua

Yakattack really takes pride in the design of their products. The switchblade transducer arm fits well, easy to install, customizable, light weight, well built and looks great. Mounts perfect on the yakattack cell block. You also have the option to mount directly onto your kayak or use the track mount option. Good price, great product 👍🏼

I removed one of the armature arms per instructions and it fit my kayak nicely. Folds into the top of the kayak when not in use. Integrates nicely with the YakAttack round base fish finder mount that I already had as the longer track bolt was included. I had to enlarge the hole in my Garmin Striker Plus 4CV transducer mount to fit the bolt provided, but the installation is simple if you are handy and plan it out. Rides nicely in the water with no perceptible increase in drag or yaw. I had tried several in-hull solutions (Garmin in-hull mount, Duct Seal, ZipLoc water bag), but the quality of the signal made for poor display detail/loss of ClearView and all of the in-hull water solutions leaked. Perfect!

It took a bit of time and planning (plus uninstalling/reinstalling) to make this work for my rig. The issue was the instructions. There were several parts that were not included in the installation instruction so after I had it installed, I when back to the part lists and based on the name of the part, figured out where it was supposed to be used. Meaning I had to disassemble and reassemble to correctly add the missing parts. That was very annoying and made the installing more difficult and twice as long. If they had only included those parts in the installation and there were some parts of the install that just were not documented at all. My advice to the manufacturer, try using your instructions to install the product and you'll find many gaps.Took it out on the water this weekend and it performed flawlessly. It's a real shame that it's a good product but hinder by the bad installation instructions.I would still recommend it but advise very careful planning and test assembly before you start tighten screws.

Most of the products I get from Yakattack are amazing and top notch. The switchblade is so close to being a great product but comes up just short of the mark. Installation was super easy and adjustability was superb. I had to add a longer screw to install my Raymarine Element transducer, but once I got that sorted it was no problem to arrange everything like I wanted. I really like the integrated cable grooves for locking down your transducer cable and the fact that the . I installed on a Predator PDL kayak and I was able to get things just right. The problem is that once you get things just right..... it's hard to keep it there. The joint design doesn't allow the joints to be tightened properly and the whole unit moves around in the water with the big transducer. It worked fine for the first trip out.... but when I was about to land the boat all the adjustment changed when I flipped the transducer up and out of the water. The rail mount was ok... but didn't really secure the switchblade in place like I wanted. I only used the one screw as supplied and it wanted to rotate. Hopefully I can add another rail mount screw to fix this. I plan to keep using it for now, but I'm also going to try to work out some adjustments. I'm leaning towards epoxying all the joints in place once I get the exact mounting figured out. Right now I would consider this a great "starter" transducer mount. Something to buy first that has a ton of adjustability so that you can figure out exactly where you want your transducer and how deep, etc. Then once you know the dimensions you need you can look into buying something else that is sturdier and more permanent.
