How to Dismantle Pneumatic Cylinder?
Step 1: Disassemble the wheels from the claw base.
Step 2: Stand on the claw base to make it stable, then hold the armrests and shake the chair leftward and rightward while lifting the seat up. Repeat 5-6 times until the pneumatic cylinder and the base come off the seat.
Step 3: Turn over the claw base. Use a hammer (preferably a rubber hammer) to tap on the center of the base to loosen and disassemble the air cylinder from the base.

This product states clearly that it is a “desk and chair set”. There was only a desk in the box and as at least one other reviewer stated, the assembly instructions are in German. My chair needs to be sent in a reasonable amount of time or I will be returning this item. I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere where products/items are not falsely advertised. Unacceptable!!

I really like the desk. The desk was easy to assemble and it has made a great addition to my room. On the contrary, the chair is cheap. The chair has become extremely squeaky when I lean back. The chair is also not very comfortable. If I could go back, I would purchase the desk, and buy a chair separately.
