I bought a Yaber jump-starter about a year ago for my new hybrid because apparently the undersized 12 volt batteries in hybrids go dead quickly (they don't have traditional starters that pull a lot of juice so the 12 volt batteries don't need to be big), but I've only used it a few times to jump my pick-up which doesn't get driven much anymore... so I decided to get another Yaber jump-starter for my girlfriend for her birthday a couple weeks ago, and since my Tacoma's battery was dead, I used her new one when it arrived to start it up and let it idle to charge the battery... like my previous Yaber, the new jump-starter had no trouble starting my Tacoma right up - and since it had a 93% charge right out of the box, I didn't even have to charge it first...most of these jump starters tell you to charge it up every 2-3 months, but apparently this one will hold its charge for up to 2 years - if you're apt to just toss it in your trunk and forget about it... but remember - you don't want to totally discharge any battery because that will shorten its life...it comes with everything you need - a USB C charging cable, heavy duty battery clamps, USB A outlets to charge two phones, a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor and a sturdy hard case to keep everything in... it has a really bright 450 lumen flashlight with a flashing white or red strobe light for emergencies, a force start button for jumping totally dead batteries - and an easy to read and understand manual...it has numerous built-in protections including reverse polarity protection for those who are not mechanically inclined, and the display screen has all the info laid out so you can read it in the dark... and it comes with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY, when most things only have a one year warranty... now I no longer have to worry about my girlfriend coming out to a dead battery in a dark parking lot after she gets off work - and calling me to come rescue her...
