This sticker maker has been so fun for my daughter. You can turn just about anything paper into a sticker. She turns photo pictures into stickers makes drawings and labels into stickers…it’s so fun!

I purchased this for my teen daughter. She loves stickers, is a talented artist and will draw her own stickers. The sticker maker works great. No set up. Literally take out of box and use. Fool proof. I took it to the next level by purchasing self laminating sheets. My daughter will laminate her design, cut it out and feed it through the sticker maker for a more sturdy sticker. Well worth the price for any crafty sticker loving person!

I love it. Have started making my Christmas cards& don't have to use glue stick now. I have the smaller 1.5 inches. Some decorations are bigger but the right size for this 2.5" one.

Me gusta que es practica, no me gusta que le da el mismo acabado que si imprimes normal en hoja de etiqueta

I make a LOT of handcrafted greeting cards, and most of them have at least one or two die-cut trims that need to be glued down. I've been using various forms of adhesion: glue pens, glue dots, tape runners, ATG tape, Sookwang (Scor) tape, etc. But I wanted to see if there was something that would work better to stick these bits down .I got this about a week ago, and I've been trying various combinations of dies, papers, etc. Bottom line: it's a keeper. It works great for most things, and the size is sufficient for *most* of my "fussy" dies.It did take a bit of trial and error to figure out how to make it work with my most delicate dies. For example, I like use the Memory Box word dies (like this one: ), which make very delicate "cursive" words. I tried cutting the word out of card stock FIRST, then running it through the Xyron. Uh .. no. This doesn't work well at all. It won't feed through the Xyron without getting tangled up, and it took several minutes to extricate all the stuck-to-itself bits. What a mess! Then, I tried cutting a rectangle of card stock about 2.25" wide by the length of the word + .5", running that through the Xyron, then cutting the word from that combination using the die and my Sizzix. Worked great! You do need to be careful when removing the backing from the die cut, but it definitely worked better than anything else I've tried.I also tried it with a delicate snowflake die cut, and again, it worked better when I adhered the paper to the Xyron tape, and then die cut the snowflake. I could get a die cut paper snowflake to feed through the Xyron without doubling and tangling, BUT I ended up with a lot of extra adhesive between the snowflake "points." Die cutting after running a square of paper through the Xyron resulted in perfectly clean snowflake "stickers."Naturally, it works just fine for less fussy die cuts: more solid shapes, tags, etc. Those you can die-cut first, then feed them through the machine. If you have several to do, try to feed them one after the other through the Xyron -- you'll end up saving more of the adhesive runner that way (less waste). However, I'll probably continue to use other glue methods with these, and save my Xyron for the fussy bits that normally require glue pen. The cartridges for the Xyron aren't cheap! It also works great for ribbon -- I like to trim a card stock mat with ribbon before sticking it down on the card front, and usually just tack the ends of the ribbon on the back of the mat. This allows the ribbon to be securely adhered to the card edge-to-edge.It's wonderful with vellum, too, as it covers the entire back of the vellum piece with adhesive. It handles things up to 2.5" wide, so if you need to glue something wider, you'll need to go up to the XRN500 or XRN510 (5" wide).I'm totally sold on this. It's definitely going to be a big help with my card making.

Hi there. I have had a good use of this product and i am very pleased with it. The xyron is a great product. This machine is low cost and easily refillable. It creates stickers out of so many items, i've tried paper, card, chipboard, ribbon and even flat buttons and anything flat and up to about 1/2 centimeter in thickness, they have all worked effortlessly. The stickers peal off with ease and the sticker is nice and tacky and has a permanent hold on paper and card craft items. You can also purchase refill cartridges with a different adhesive strength. The opening is ideal if you stick small embellishments, it has a width of 2 1/2 inches and the machine has a very good serrated edge which tears with ease every time.Although it is not very heavy, this item is a little bulky and awkwardly shaped i would not say it is ideally portable. This machine is so handy and is something a card crafter or Scrap Booker will find themselves reaching for on a regular basis.A real pleasure to use, I lovvvvve it!.Have a nice day

I used this Xyron machine for a little part of a DIY wedding project. For my wedding invitations, I made wraparound address labels myself since I didn't want to hire a calligrapher or just use standard printed addresses on clear labels or anything. Wedding invitations were a while ago, but my labels were something like 1.75 inches x 6 inches or somewhere around there on thicker poundage paper. I researched all sorts of adhesives for something like this - spray glue seemed to messy and lung-damaging, regular glue is messy and sort of shows up through the label, and it would be annoying to use double-sided tape. This was a perfect, cheap machine that rolls in the label and pops it out as a sticker (make sure you get the PERMANENT adhesive cartridges and not the "removable" type for something like address labels). I went through probably 8+ refill cartridges since we had so many invitations and the labels were long, but it was worth it. They stuck on really well and easy to apply as a sticker.Only complaint (hence minus 1 star) - towards the middle to end of the cartridge, it gets squeaky and takes more work to roll it through, but whatever - it's not unmanageable not a deal breaker. I wouldn't have done these any other way.And now that the wedding is over - I'm thinking of giving it to my nieces with some non-permanent adhesive sticker cartridges so they can make stickers of their little drawings and things. This is something that would also be absolutely perfect for scrapbooking.
