I was on the verge of getting rid of my sofa but couldnt bring myself round to doing it so i searched high and low for a sturdy product that was affordable. I couldnt find one so i went for this one and although at the time of the purchase i thought it was quite pricy i definitely feel this product is good quality. I do still think it was a little pricy but sometimes in life you have to pay for quality. I am still monitoring whether it will maintain the comfort of my sofa but so far its been good

OMG, this product was literally delivered, and I was too excited to place it under my couch cushions. Not only did it fit perfectly, my couch has us sitting up much higher than before I purchased the couch. Don't just take my word for it, buy one and see for yourself!

This thing is amazing. Honestly, my back hurt everything I would sit on my couch, until today. This is the first day I can honestly say "my back is not rebelling. It's pricey, but in my opinion it's worth every penny. I have 3 cushions, it's a leather couch that was given to us 2nd hand. It is such a blessing. 2nd hand couch is like new!!!

Usually I wouldn’t take this much of a risk on a product that I consider to be on the more expensive side. I’m so glad that I did though. I saw another review that mentioned the size wasn’t quite right so they went for the larger size and managed to squeeze it together in the folds to get it flat. Although they didn’t mention the measurements I still thought I’d try it. The measurements of my sofa are 64” and I started to panic that I wouldn’t get 4 inches from the gaps but it worked perfectly! The extra wide boards fill the whole of the base bit and then there are just a few inches of leather left at the lip. But I wouldn’t have wanted the boards on the leather anyways. It’s made such a huge difference!… it’s like a brand new sofa and I couldn’t be happier with my risky purchase! :) highly recommend paying the extra for this product :)

I’ve got 2 of these very chic, mid-century style Modernica daybeds which LOOK fabulous, except the foam they use is less than stellar - if anyone more than average height and weight sits on them they sag and bow like well, your aunt’s mid-century vinyl lounge with tweedy cushions. I can understand why - it’s not easy to specify a foam that’s firm enough for sitting yet soft enough for guest sleeping - and that’s NOT a boring futon.This product FIXES the problem. I bought the longest size which perfectly fit the sprung part of the sofa. Now when my 200lb friend sat down he didn’t disappear into the Grand Canyon. My other guest who found it too firm for sleeping was able to simply pull it out and fold it to one side. Utterly brilliant. They’re just thick masonite boards - so they’re heavy - sheathed in a cordura-like cover that concertina folds.When you first open them you’ll want to let them off-gas in a well ventilated area. (Unfortunately all pure, organic, non-lifetime molecule products will be in our next lives…). I sent this to Modernica and suggested they make their own for a “firmer seat and a forgiving sleep.”

I measured my cushion so maybe that’s why it was so close but I tapped the ends in lightly and it fits perfect now. The support is Amazing! it is thick so it shouldn’t break or give and it really supports the cushions. I still need better cores for my sectional and it’s brand new but the use cheap foam and it goes flat where it is sat on. If you need couch , sectional, or whatever g8 e this brand a try because it works and works great considering the prices are very reasonable.

I like the product. The only problem is that it’s not sturdy in areas of couch where people often sit. ( the end of couch where arm rest is)

I deliberately bought this because the measurements were 23” x 68”, which is the exact measurement of my couch base. However, I opened this and placed it down, unprotected space on both ends though the depth seems right. I’ve enclosed a photo of the length, a full 2” short. Not acceptable.As for the feel, it certainly does give a much firmer support on my 8 year old leather couch. However, the softness of my cushions makes me think I should instead try those hard foam inserts that go directly into the cushion “pillows.”From installing these boards, I think the gist is that if your cushions are okay but the base springs are weakened or broken, something like this could help a lot. But if your base is fine but the couch cushions themselves are too soft, a solution will likely lie in something to harden the cushions themselves. These boards only help slightly, then the cushions slip slightly forward on them.I would return these because I would want the advertised 68”, but looks like these just told me that I should try the cushion improvement pads.

Turns out we had really soft cushions so this didn't help at all. But I did mess around with it to test its effectiveness. Turns out not that good. Well built and somewhat sturdy it was too narrow to bridge the gap between the back edge of the sofa and the front edge to make the couch really firm. Lengthwise it was adequate but I just sat in the middle of the springs and didn't make much of a difference at all.
