I am so in love with our steps. I wanted something to be able to go into the pool easier with my dogs and a broken foot. They were so easy to install. I used 2 blue waterproof bags and 1-25 pound bag of sand split between the 2. The 10” deep steps I really love too.

I have no complaints. This ladder was fairly easy to assemble. We did an inexpensive "McGyver" solution to address weight for anchoring. (See video - sorry, I tried several times & video wouldn't upload) I am extremely happy that I bought this ladder and so are my guests! 🤗

I put this together exactly like the picture said with the long poles in the back and the short poles in the front and with the shortest part of the groove facing up and behold, you get to the part where you put the handrails on and there’s about a 3 inch difference on each side at the top . You would need to bow them significantly . I destroyed the box , and we have a short summer in Montana - so I will attempt to use without the rails. Super disappointed . It’s pretty thin plastic too, can’t see it holding up to the chlorine or more than one summers use.

We bought these steps to keep algae from accumulating inside the steps. That parts fine. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because the handrails are very flimsy and the bar going across the bottom is to far towards the back of the steps for any weights to compensate for the front from floating. I had to install the bar closer to the front and screw them down so it would stay. That way when I lay sand weights on it more of the weight is towards the front. It wasn't a big deal but that's why I only gave it 3 stars.

These steps are nice and strong. Easy to put together. I did buy the sand bags and put 25 lbs in each one. Zip tied to the inside of steps. Perfect!!!!! Stable and worth the money.

As stated in other reviews, instructions were vague, but pretty easy to figure out. Steps are solid and snap together well. The handrails will certainly not support much... they are definitely a bit flimsy, but they are adequate for balance getting in and out. A bit of missed opportunity here: if there were an insert to steady the handrails, these would be 5+ stars. Also as stated, plan on weights, or as we did, poured about 40lbs of sand into the steps during assembly. In hindsight, probably should have gone with 50lbs. 40 is just over neutral buoyancy. Overall I am pleased with these.. as stated, the steps are rock solid.

He love the steps. We have elderly parents, so a ladder didn’t go over to well as an option for our above ground pool. We built a deck and these were our solution. A couple of modification were made: 1: We used empty cat little jugs (2 of them) filled up with sand and attached with zip ties to weigh down the stairs to avoid movement and floating; 2. We added two 2x4’s, “cut” to shape on each side to securely attach the ladder to the wood deck. The stairs are easy to clean, easy setup and so much better that the ladder entrance and exit out of the pool.
