The concrete vibrating part only engages part time like there is a clutch or something not engaging inside it. When it works it works good it just don't always engage like it should. The electric motor works fine the issue is inside the vibrator portion itself. Who knows what is inside that. Anyway that is the reason for the lower rating.

Can't believe that I did not buy one sooner. Works great but is not variable speed will through cement all over the place with a shallow pore.

Tool intermittently worked. It simply would not vibrate when you hit the trigger, which is the main purpose of the tool. You have to fidget with it. I returned it.

Works great. Only thing is that you have to shake stinger end while hitting trigger to get the vibration started. After that it has great vibration power.

I have used this a few times with great results. I had a few minor issues. The on/off tiger switch broke the first time. I don't know if It was struck with something or if it broke on it's own. Since it's always on now , I just plug it in when I need it and unplug it when I don't. Also it doesn't vibrate right away. You have to bump it to get it to vibrate. Once you know this , it's easy to operate. I'm recommending this because it does work and the price was great. The first time I used it was on a 5 yard pour. I was pleased when I took the forms off later. I could have been a little more aggressive with it , put overall I had few voids. I'm sure it got into all the reinforcement steel in the form.
