I mean, you get what you pay for obviously. They are OK for the money. A bit flimsy, but have a good brightness. I have ordered these a few times. Order a large roll of 3M double sided tape with them. They tend to not like to stick well. I give them 5 stars. The first time, I would have been frustrated..but working with them several times now, I know what I need to do to make them great.

I used these LED strip to provide foot well lighting in my VF Commodores integrated into the wiring loom. All the lights are still working well after two years of service. The only concern that I have with them is the heat shrink wrap around where the wires go into the strips are not secure. Also note that the wires of the strips are quite thin and difficult to manage during installation, but no issues with them as such.

My wife's new car had a dark spot where the switches light up when they are turned on. But, at night when those switches are off... you can't see them. I placed one of these under an overhang above the location and presto- we can see the switches now! Mind you I had to trim the LED strip down to where there are only three LED's on the strip. NOTE: you can cut the strips behind every 3rd LED and therefore make the strip the length you need, ie.3,6,9,12 LED's. Minimum of 3 LED's required though. The sticky tape on the back of the strips did not work so I put a couple small drops of super glue on the strips and solved it. Ran the wiring to the fuse panel where I tapped into a fuse that is only HOT when the ignition is on, and added an inline fuse for the LED wire. NOTE: LED's will not work if the positive and negative wires are connected backwards. I recommend these, they work great!

Was looking for some cheap LED strip lighting to add a bit more light to the back of my cargo van.All 8 light strips work fine, adhesion seemed good to the painted metal roof interior. Wires are extremely thin and difficult to work with. Brightness is not great. I’d say these are more for ambient lighting or accents than actually for illuminating a space.

Nice bright lights, I went with blue, so a very good light for finding gear in the night and going back into the dark.As with pretty much any LED strip the wires are tiny and a bit hard to strip without breaking, but that's almost expected these days.Adhesive isn't great, but they stick. I'm expecting 1 or 2 of the 4 I installed to end up peeling at some point, then I'll use a different method.Overall I'm happy with these, the quality so far and level of light is definitely worth the price

If you’re looking for an LED strip with a soft glow, unreliable adhesive, and ultra-thin 26ga wiring that occasionally comes free from its soldered points, then look no further! These are NOT “super bright” by any means. I tested each strip before installing them, and found they were quite dim. I was a little disappointed, but willing to live with it.Then came installation. I prepped my surfaces (raw aluminum & powder coated) with denatured alcohol & microfiber rag. Ambient temps were 80°F. I then carefully pressed in place, each strip. By the third strip, I noticed that the first strip was lifting. They stuck slightly better to the raw aluminum, but not much better. I attempted to salvage them by using 3M double-sided tape - the 3M tape stayed strong to the surfaces, but the fetching lights would still pull from the adhesive! Then the wiring. Oh that awful, peach-fuzz-thin, stranded wire that requires tweezers and a steady hand for soldering. Also, a couple of leads came undone from the solder points on the strips, as I was routing the leads.I knew $9.xx was a pretty low price, and sometimes you get lucky. This time, I was not so lucky. I would stay away from these.

I bought these to replace a bad led light strip on the mudflap of my pickup truck. As luck would have it, it was a direct replacement. These days I want to bring as much attention to my brake lights as I can with everybody’s head buried in their phones.I replaced both left and right strips for uniformity. I cleaned the surface with alcohol before applying the strips and one adhered nicely. It was a cold damp day and by the time I finished wiring the second one the adhesive did not stick as well and I ended up using spray contact cement to make it stick the following day when the rain had stopped. This is a great product for a very reasonable price. It would be silly not to buy it if this is what you are looking for.
